I see many request for different kind of polls, which is good! The whole point of them is to get an insight into the community and to raise engagement. Since there are a lot of different suggestions, I thought I might let everyone have a crack at creating their own and post them here.
If I think one suggestion is above the rest in terms of originality, or gets much more votes than the rest, I may actually put it as the main poll on the Wiki for a while (maybe a weekly turnover) and also add it to the RR3 Wiki:List of Wikia Polls page.
What you will need to do is (in source mode, symbolised by the square brackets in the lower LHS of the comment box), write something similar to this:
<poll> Question Answer 1 Answer 2 ...etc </poll>
This layout is paramount to the poll working, everything needs to be on different lines, which will give this:
Question
Of course, if the nature of the poll is rude or offensive, it will get removed, so keep it clean and if possible, on the general topic of the Wiki or RR3.
Good luck!
EDIT: Also, bear in mind that changing part of the poll resets the results.
A lot of players on the net take pride in mentioning the fact that they have finalized (their goals in) the game without spending one lousy dime. You should think FM would not last a day if this was the case for all 100 M players. ... So ... this poll to uncover the spending reality. Not R$ not even GC. Heard earned cash you could also use for other delightfull purposes.
HOW MUCH REAL MONEY DID YOU SPEND ON RR3? --- (Please convert in $; 1$ = 1Euro = 0,8£)
Hey everyone. My name is Ryan, or Real Racing Ryan. It seems like this WIkia has helped me a lot. Thanks so much for the people who post on this website!
I did not include Nürburgring Nordschleife Germany on purpose knowing that the RR3 community would love to have "The green Hell" added to RR3, but based on device limitations it is unlikely.
Took the list from chatter on the Wiki, combined with the official list of F1 circuits.
For the previous poll, I hate measuring in the imperial system but I've gotten so used to it that kph don't make sense to me anymore. I still prefer kg and metres, though
It's good that we can change our votes, after device upgrade screen size is different so changed vote accordingly, soon to change back to the 60% completion too am at 59.9% :)
Edit : the map poll is interesting, I'm the one who does not use map
Which type of special event do you enjoy the most? Assuming every option below costs 100 gold to complete, please only consider based on the challenges or requirements each event provides.
Only 10 people have voted on the previous pole about the use of Categories, 9 of which do not use them, can more people vote on this so we can tell if they're relevent to the Wikia :)
There has been a lot of talk on the wiki about the new Elite Driver group. There has been a chart made of game data, but there is a lot of criteria not in the game data and some of the game data isn't that relevant. There has been talk of making a poll for this and a poll for that. Well, here are some polls. This first group is criteria possibly used, rumored to be used, or suggested to be used to put a racer in or keep a racer out of the Elite Driver group. It is my hope that many people will answer all the questions and a clear pattern will emerge and we can finally reveal this big secret. What is the criteria to be included in the Elite Driver group?
My ratio of gold trophy races to total races is (Gold Trophy Races divided by Total Races)
I have left feedback support on App Store/Play Store or other game outlet.
In App Purchase(s)
The highest rank ever attained in Weekly Time Trial (3 times or more.)
The number of Series in Exclusive I have completed
Achievement trophies, out of 77
I play RR3 on this device: (if multiple, choose one if it is NOT in the Elite Driver group)
This group of polls is game data that you can find in RR3. I chose certain bits that I felt were more relevant that say, bronze trophy races. Also, I'm hoping we get a bigger sample. Click your choice and click the "Vote" button:
I achieved Driver Level 100, just now. I got an Achievement called Pro-Elite. In the Achievement menu, I collected an additional 15 . Going from Driver Leve 99 to 100, netted me 25 . I think this is different than the Elite Driver that I've seen other drivers' screen shots. I will have to see, when I collect the daily bonus for 10/1, if there is some special badge for Pro-Elite. In the Achievements window it showed that I will attain Pro level at Driver Level 250. I guess that award will come at that time, but this newer Elite Driver thing is outside of the Achievements, I think.
So far we have 62 respondents on the polls about being added to the Elite Driver group. That's great! I've seen some suggestions for other polls, and I've thought of some follow up polls, to see what combination of criteria might be in play.
IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE ELITE DRIVER GROUP: I urge you to take the polls. Only 22 of the 62 are NON's. Your input will really help. A big thank you to those drivers/editors who have completed the polls!
In the chatter around the special event, a lot is said about minimizing spending, finalizing with R$ only. I would like to find out how the community did
How much net did you gain/spend in the SAB 1000? (Ford or Holden)
You mean we will not see, hm? I mean if F1 comes (and based on this article it will!) to iOS & Android I don't think CM will sell the rights to EA, not?
DEFINITELY!!! I mean I want a Jag E-Type but I have to spend 180 Gold? I mean it's top speed is around 250Kilometers! I don't say anything to Lexus LFA for example, but some cars have real high prices...
I have considered maybe writing some follow up polls to clarify some things -- maybe get an understanding of the anomalies, how some have Elite and DL lower than 150, and some do not have Elite and DL 150 and higher, but I am sensing that the issue is fast becoming a non-issue. With so few exceptions: just less than 10 percent, the information about what makes them an exception might only be of interest to those in that small group.
