I also posted this in the RR3 sub-reddit:
So I encountered a bug which is also a part of anti-cheating code in the game.
So, we all know that "borrowing" upgrades isn't allowed and if the game notices, that you restore a copy of the game, where for any of your cars its PR level is lower then what is already in the game, the game gives you a warning for which car the PR has been lowered and resets your OMP status to 100 points.
So, this is the situation that got my OMP score reset to 100 points:
- I got the C8.R and it has 2 drivers:
- the 1st I have at L7
- the 2nd I have at L1
- I play on 2 devices
- First I played on my 1st device and have made a backup to cloud with the L7 driver
- Then, on my 2nd device, I made a cloud restore of previous save and played on that device
- While playing on my 2nd device I decided I'll also level up the L1 driver, so I assigned it and got it to L2
- When finished, on my 2nd device I made a backup to cloud with my L2 driver still assigned
- Later, on my 1st device, I made a cloud restore with the L2 driver assigned and the warning came, that the game has detected, that I'm trying to load a save which has the C8.R PR lower then what is already in the game and has thus restored my OMP points to 100
So, REMEMBER - if you do a backup to cloud and then restore to another device, make sure you assign the higher level driver (in my case L7) before doing the backup to cloud or your OMP scores will be reset, when doing a cloud restore on your 2nd device. The cars PR must never be lower in the restore files than what you already the have in the game on your device.
Cheers and keep on racing :)
