You know the one I'm talking about. You run a TT and just happen to, say, slip out the rear end and slide off track. Your natural reaction is to correct before it goes out so you turn the steering to the left or right -- but to no avail, so you just hit quit. Then you click retry:
When the next race starts, your car immediately jerks hard to the left or right, same as where you left off before hitting quit. If you are lucky it doesn't immediately throw you off track and waste one of your Drive tokens. If that doesn't happen you still have a less than perfect start.
From a programmers point of view it seems like the input buffer wasn't cleared so the last remaining tilt info is still there and being read upon start. A simple clear buffer is all that's needed. One is performed when you click continue then reselect the TT to start anew, but that is unnecessarily time consuming.
yes, small bug and you can avoid it by always being sure to only quit after centering the steering but... still... it's been there forever and it's a small thing to fix.
