1) No. You can just start the first event on the list and let it expire. The next will come up within 24h of the expiration.
2) I don't think so. WYSIWYG.
3) That's what they said in the beginning. I'm pretty sure the wheel has already made 1 full turn in my case.
The advice is: look through the update history and find all the events that you haven't completed. Make a chronological list according to which were added first. Then check which ones appear in your Archive box. If you have the time, revise your list accordingly. I'm almost sure they made it so the progression is never quite in the order you'd expect it to be, but the good news is there is a logic to it and the events you want to take up will eventually pop up.
I'd like to point out an error at point 1. The next event will not come out within 24 hours of the last event's expiration, but at midnight UTC.
Case in point: If my current event expires at 13:00 UTC+7, the next event will be unlocked in 17 hours (including the minutes and seconds).
