The TOYOTA CAMRY (JOE GIBBS RACING - 2017) is a race version of the production 2018 Toyota Camry. In the game, it is Joe Gibbs Racing's car for the DAYTONA 500: The Great American Race. In real life, it is driven by Denny Hamlin (No. 11), Kyle Busch (No. 18), Daniel Suárez (No. 19), Matt Kenseth (No. 20), and Martin Truex Jr (No.78). Martin Truex Jr won the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Championship with this car while Kyle Busch finished 2nd overall in the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series with this car.
This also marks the change of the Camry's base model from the 2016 XV50 to the 2018 XV70.
