General Overview[]
The Seasons and Round system is a system added in Formula 1 Season 3 Update (v9.6). It is the place where the player can access any events from an update, which includes Weekly Time Trials, Time Trial Competitions, Special Events, Limited Series, and Race Day events.
Any new Road Collection car will have its series appear in their respective Seasons' hubs (Currently Season 1, Season 2, OR Season 3). It would seem that the old categories such as Master, Elite, and Legend have been left behind, but we cannot be 100% sure. However, MotorSports and Exclusive Series have not and will not change.
Players are able to switch between rounds by tapping the card swap button in the upper left shown by the arrow in the image above.
All lists on this page are laid out from newest to oldest.
Round and Season length[]
The current round is Round 1 in Season 4 from Koenigsegg CC850 Update (v12.7).
Based off of current knowledge, one full Season lasts around a year, with a new Season to be expected around September of each year. Season 1 lasted 58 weeks from August 2nd, 2021 to September 12th, 2022, while Season 2 started then and lasted until August 28th, 2023. Season 3 started then and is currently ongoing.
Post-Round Procedures[]
After such round ends, all new cars from that round will be unlocked and available to purchase, should the player have chosen not to have won such car. Any events that the player does not own a car for, and have not started, will also be locked. If one starts an event in an inactive round for a car which is not owned, they must purchase the car first before they can access the event. The only exception is if that event features multiple cars, and they already own one within that lineup (ex. Using an already-won F1 car for a future event). They will also not get instant servicing or upgrade bonuses.
Players will be able to access past rounds for a considerable amount of time, but not forever. Starting at the beginning of NASCAR & Formula 1® 2022 Update (v10.8) (October 25th, 2022), rounds from Season 1 will be removed from the game. This will start with Season 1 Round 1 on October 25th, followed by Round 2 on November 8th, two weeks later, and then Round 3 another two weeks after that. On May 9th, 2023, Season 2 would start to expire, starting with Round 1, and Season 3 would start to expire on April 22nd, 2024. The general rule of thumb in the present day is around seven months from when a round is introduced to when it expires. A full chart can be expanded below:

Cars/Rewards Information[]
All cars from an ongoing round will be locked to purchase. It is best to win a car within the round its event is new and within its event's time limit.
Once the event timer ends, players can still play to win the resources (VP, , and/or ), but they can no longer win the car.
If a player owns the car for an event, they will have until the round ultimately expires to complete that event, even if a timer appears next to the event. This also means players can start events with a car they own from a previous round should it still be in the game.
Below is a chart of how much different events pay. This is a pattern observed ever since the implementation of the Round Hub.
Event Type | VP | Reasoning |
---|---|---|
7+ day NEW Special Event | 10,000 | Special Event Baseline |
4-6 day NEW Special Event | 6,500 | Less stages than a 7-day event. |
Limited Series (New or Repeat) | 5,250 | Limited Series Baseline |
WTT or TTC | 1,000 | Base Time Trial payout |
7+ day FLASHBACK Special Event | 5,000 | 50% of the initial value of 10,000 |
4-6 day FLASHBACK Special Event | 3,250 | 50% of the initial value of 6,500 |
7+ day FORMULA 1® Special Event | 12,000 | 120% of the initial value of 10,000[2] |
4-6 day FORMULA 1® Special Event | 7,800 | 120% of the initial value of 6,500 |

FORMULA 1® TTC | 1,200 | 120% of the initial value of 1,000 |
Limited Series[]
With the introduction of Seasons in Formula 1 Season 3 Update (v9.6), Firemonkeys stopped using the term Limited Time Series and instead these series are now called Limited Series. This page includes only the Limited Series; for pre v9.6 events, please see the LTS Upgrade Strategy page.

Inactive Events[]
Starting on October 25th, 2022, Season 1 rounds started to expire. Round 1 expired on that day, and for most of Season 1, Rounds would expire on a two week interval. If you have any rewards left, it is recommended to use them if possible.
For Season 2 and 3 events, a clear pattern of one round expiring every six weeks has been observed, or at the start of the third week of each respective update. See the Round Expiration Table further up this page for more information.
For the full list of expired round hub events, see the Expired Round Hub Events page.
Footnotes[]
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 This date is unofficial, though it does give a good idea of when to expect this Round to expire so we can prepare. It is based off the current pattern of a round ending every six weeks, and/or the provisional third week of an update.
- ↑ NOTE: This cannot be confirmed at this time as there has not been an F1® special event lasting 7 days in the Round Hub era. This is based off the pattern that has been observed for over two years.
- ↑ Once player reach the recommended PR, bots management is allowed. But it can't change the mandatory task, such as required top speed, fuel consumption etc
- ↑ Drivetrain upgrades give you 2 kph more top speed and 0.03s faster acceleration than Exhaust, easier but cost 10 more , 1131311 is only theoretically possible with perfect conditions but it worths a try.
- ↑ Once player reach the recommended PR, bots management is allowed. But it can't change the mandatory task, such as required top speed, fuel consumption etc
