Methods to slow bots down[]
Track | Recommended method to slow bots | Damage Taken |
---|---|---|
Autocross | Each time you run an Autocross event, set a slow time of of 4th or less, either retry or continue and re-enter. If you retry ignore the bot's names, that splash up before the race, they will be changed at the end of the race, you will notice, after each time of running, the target time is increased. If continuing doesn't increase the bot's time try repeating and vice a versa. Do not set a low time at the line, tilt B will give better control to coast before the line, if you are too quick or brake and wait at the line, smashing the time will increase the AI. |
Minimal |
Cup & NASCAR |
As soon as the race starts, pause, retire, confirm, either retry or continue and re-enter, if you retry ignore the bot's names, that splash up before the race, they will be changed at the end of the race. Also ignore the bots times on the final screen too, they are based on an average lap time, as you quit their times are based on a standing start, as an average. Instead use the times as a guide, with each retry or continue the bots times should increase. If continuing doesn't lower the bot's time try repeating and vice a versa. OR If you have a broken car run the race a few times, each time you lose you will still get R$ and Fame, place 4th or less, repeating or continuing and re-entering will lower the bot's. Once ready to go, get to 1st place as quickly as possible and try to slow the bot's down, either spin them out or park in sharp bends / chicanes and stop them passing. By setting a low time, but still coming first, it's still possible to still lower the AI of bots, think about a Time Trial time, if you set a set a slow time it lowers the AI. |
Minimal /None. |
Drag Race | Start the race, press go and leave the car is first gear, do not click repeat, as this will repeat the current race, against the same bot, instead choose continue, then either retry or continue and re-enter. You will see the opponents will change to lower ones. Once ready to go, don't undo the lowing work by setting a fast time, instead use the gears to slow the car, once passed the bot go up through the gears, but watch the bot doesn't speed up / close the gap, or if close to the line go down a gear to brake. |
Minimal |
Elimination | Elimination events are one of the best opportunities to lower the bots AI, deliberately lose a few times, do not move at the start (Tilt B), wait for the 20 second timer to run out, then repeat or continue and re-enter. You will see the opponent will change to lower ones. If you retry ignore the bot's names, that splash up before the race, they will be changed at the end of the race. Once ready to go, get to first place and slow the bots as per the cup event. |
None |
Endurance | Endurance events are one of the best opportunities to lower the bots AI deliberately lose a few times, change the controls to Tilt B, when the lights go green do not move, wait for the timer to count down the 60 seconds. Either retry or continue and re-enter. If you retry ignore the bot's names, that splash up before the race, they will be changed at the end of the race. Note the distance is reducing each time. If continuing doesn't lower the bot's distance try repeating and vice a versa. It's possible to get all 7 bots distance to 1.0 mi. Another point, the online and offline bots can wildly vary on Endurance races, especially with fiends distance'. It's normally much better to race Endurance races offline, before going to the Endurance event go offline (aeroplane mode), if you've already started an Endurance race online, exit back to the main menu, if your logged into FB / G+ / Weibo, goto settings and logout, then force close, go offline and relaunch RR3, bots should now be offline ones. Once ready to go, don't undo the lowing work by setting a good distance, instead once passed the 1st marker, park up (tilt B) and wait for the timer to count down. |
None |
Head To Head | As soon as the race starts, pause, retire, confirm, either retry or continue and re-enter. Repeat multiple times, ignore the bot's time on the final screen, it is based on an average lap time, you can use it as a guide that the bot's time is reducing. Once ready to go, don't undo the lowing work by setting a good time, instead once in 1st place, use the same technique as cup events, slow the bot down. Quite often a single bot will not push you once stopped, so you can easily hold it up for 20 seconds, then go for it. Wait at the line to reduced the time set, but still win. |
1 lap of damage /None |
Hunter | As soon as the race starts, pause, retire, confirm, either retry or continue and re-enter, repeat multiple times, each time you repeat the distance to the 1st place will increase. Once ready to go, don't undo the lowing work by setting a good distance, instead once passed the 1st place marker, slow down and maintain a small distance advantage ahead, when near the line slow to reduce the distance, but still win. It's also possible to spin out the NISSAN SILVIA (S15) to reach 1st, but be careful not to set a top distance. Final point, the NISSAN SILVIA (S15) can be on a different section as track from you, e.g. If 1st place marker is 1,000 yds behind. The NISSAN SILVIA (S15) could be going flat out down a straight while you’re in a hairpin or chicane, so the 1st place marker is going 1,000 yds behind the NISSAN SILVIA (S15), but travels at the same speed so doesn't slow for the chicane! The worst tracks have chicanes before the finish line, like Spa or Le Mans, learn from any losses, track knowledge will help in future events, sometimes waiting by the line is better, but be aware your stopped and 1st place marker could be going 120 MPH. |
1 lap of damage /None |
Time Trial | Set a slow time, in a Series this event's cup does not count towards continuing your race career (i.e. it does not unlock the next Series). However it does count towards completing 100% of the Series. Running a time trial with a broken car will therefore take no damage and lower the AI of bots. Note: If you play against friends do not be tempted to upgrade your car and set faster times, as this will increase the AI of bots, you could always do this once you've bought all cars :) |
1 lap of damage /None |
Speed Record | As soon as the race starts, pause, retire, confirm, either retry or continue and re-enter. Note the bot's time is reducing. If continuing doesn't lower the bot's speed try repeating and vice a versa. Once ready to go, don't undo the lowing work by setting a high top speed, brake as soon as you hit 1st place's speed. If your still struggling to reach first place, the start finish straight is normally the longest straight, you can do a U turn and drive the wrong way around the track, so once around the last turn, do another U turn, and blast down the straight, with all assists off, it doesn't matter if you fly off track at turn one. If the start/finish straight isn't the longest you can still use the no assists method to hit the top speed, again it doesn't matter if you fly off track. However once you reach 1st place brake, so you don't increase the AI of bots. In special events challenges there is quite often a no off track clause to stop this technique, forcing you to upgrade to hit the required speed. |
Minimal /None |
Speed Snap | Speed Snaps are the same "parts of tracks" as Autocross, except you must hit a top speed at the line so set a top speed of 4th or less, the lower the better, then either retry or continue and re-enter. Note the top speed's are reducing each time. If continuing doesn't lower the bot's speed try repeating and vice a versa. Once ready to go, do not set a high top speed at the line, tilt B will give better control to feather the throttle once at the 1st place' speed, this takes a bit of practice, smashing the top speed will increase the AI. |

Start / End Strategy[]
The player has 8 days to complete the 8 stages, the event is 8 days x 24 hours. The first stage will start the time the player starts it, the last stage will end 8 x 24 hours later. As stage 01 is normally straight forward and can be completed without an upgrade or service, it can be started late in the day, it doesn't matter if stage 01 isn't completed the first day, it can continue the following day. The next stage 02, will unlock at midnight providing stage 01 is completed, stage 03 will unlock at midnight the following day, and so on up to stage 8, in total there will be 8 x 24 hours = 192 hours to complete all stages.
For example:
Start Sat @ 7:30 PM the event will end 8 days x 24 hours later, Sunday @ 7:30 PM,
Stage No. |
Day | Day | Day | Day | Day | Day | Day |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Sat from 19:30 | Sun from 19:30 | Mon from 19:30 | Tue from 19:30 | Wed from 19:30 | Thu from 19:30 | Fri from 19:30 |
Stage 2 | Sun | Mon | Tue | Wed | Thu | Fri | Sat |
Stage 3 | Mon | Tue | Wed | Thu | Fri | Sat | Sun |
Stage 4 | Tue | Wed | Thu | Fri | Sat | Sun | Mon |
Stage 5 | Wed | Thu | Fri | Sat | Sun | Mon | Tue |
Stage 6 | Thu | Fri | Sat | Sun | Mon | Tue | Wed |
Stage 7 | Fri | Sat | Sun | Mon | Tue | Wed | Thu |
Stage 8 | Sat | Sun | Mon | Tue | Wed | Thu | Fri |
Continue Stage 8 |
Sun until 19:30 | Mon until 19:30 | Tue until 19:30 | Wed until 19:30 | Thu until 19:30 | Fri until 19:30 | Sat until 19:30 |
You need to choose the best time for you to start Front-Runner event, or more importantly when is the best time for you to end the event!
RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race tip):
I wouldn't recommend starting the event on the first day, ~1-May, as many racers, who start as soon as the event opens, complain about bugs, which FM then fix! Instead leave the start a day or two and let other people do the bug testing. Also the tips and details can be filled in by the early adopters, so starting a day or two later gives a better heads up.
Ideally, for racers who are busy Monday to Friday and have the weekend free, the best day and time to start is as late as possible Saturday 7-May, as long as it's before midnight, meaning stage 8 of the event can be completed over two days, the following Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately there maybe a short time to start this event! It maybe only open for 1 week, as the next release is expected 17-May. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.
Cloud Save / Restore[]
See the Firemonkeys website for full details on cloud save:
Firemonkeys.com.au Cloud Save FAQ
Real Racing 3 automatically uploads your save data to the Cloud Servers once every 12 Hours. This means that if you have lost your save data, you can easily restore your previous game progress (including your purchases) and also transfer this save data between devices using the Cloud Save feature.
During events you can use the Cloud Save and Restore feature to your advantage. Before you start every event, manually do a Cloud Save, if you lose do a cloud restore, this will save a long service after the longer, endurance, cup and NASCAR events.
Once you win do another cloud save before you continue the next event, see the FAQ on Firemonkey's website:
It is very important to wait for the screen to display last updated seconds (or minutes) ago. If you have a message stating backup failed, wait another minute, a wheel will turn in the bottom right corner, the message will show last updated seconds (or minutes) ago and Backup to Cloud button will be greyed out too.
If backup still failed, return to the login screen, log off, wait 10 seconds and log on once more, click continue, wait 30 seconds for the login to complete, then try to backup once more.
If you still have problems: log off, then turn aeroplane mode on, wait 10 seconds, turn aeroplane mode off, wait 30 seconds for the wifi to reconnect, login, click continue, wait 30 seconds for the login to complete, then try to backup once more.
The final thing to try, force close the RR3 app, then with the Wifi on, relaunch RR3, then try to backup once more. If this still doesn't work, the FM server is probably having problems, again.
You can also use this technique to save on spending with gold, for example if you want to spend 1 gold on the mechanic, if you win, the mechanic will be used and the car condition will be maintained, but if you don't come first the gold is lost and the car condition will be reduced, if you cloud restore the car will be returned to it previous state and the gold spend (or even free mechanic) returned.
Note: Before you cloud restore, it is important to login into the same Social Profiles you had previously connected to Real Racing, when cloud saving. Especially if multiple Social Profiles are used!
FAQ[]
Car Service[]
How can I service the car when I already finished the day?
If you missed servicing your car after the final event on the day, the soonest you can service the car is at midnight.
The Target is too High, How do I Reduce it?[]
When the speed or time or distance is too high or fast or long, there are several things that can be done to reduce the target
Make sure you cloud save before you start and after a handful of failed attempts try a cloud restore and retry the next method. Sometimes the AI is still reduced after the restore.
- Try offline - if you've been online, you must do a force close too.
- Try online - sometimes the AI target is different.
- Try repeat, repeat , repeat, again lose by a big margin, don't come higher than 4th.
- Try losing by a big margin, but don't retry, instead complete and then re-enter the race - this takes more time but works.
Sorry this takes so much time, but the AI will reduce. With a cloud restore it's quicker than a long service!
For example, I tried 11 times to reach 1st place:
Attempt | Bot Target MPH | Bot Name | My Actual MPH | Finished | R$ | Fame |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 196 | merrygold | 189 | 7th | 750 | 140 |

The Game / Le Mans Keeps crashing[]
RR3 Michael P wrote:
If you are having problems loading Le-Mans: Le Mans is the biggest data track to load, close the game, go off line (aeroplane mode), try a complete showdown (hold the power for 10 seconds, I think), then start back up, launch the game and turn the Heads-up Display (HUD) off. This helps on my Hudl.
I read a post suggesting using the RR3 Graphics app (AKA RR3 GFX) available from the Google Play Store, (then automatically updating it from their website). The poster advised Le Mans used to crash, but when the graphics is set low, using this app, it loads and plays fine:
- App source: RR3 graphics: This app lets you set a desired video graphics quality for RR3 game.

When is the last time I can start this Event?[]
Entry to this event will close in nine days of commencement of this event.
Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.
Will this event be added to the race career?[]
FM went though a spell of adding special events to the racing career, the last time a special event was added was September 2015 v3.6, NASCAR Academy was added directly to the NASCAR career, without previously being released as a Time Limited Event (TLE). Previous to that was April 2015 v3.3, with Redline: Origins and MotorFiesta 1. It is therefore unlikely this event will be added to the racing career.
Will the car be available to win in the future?[]
The HENNESSEY VENOM GT is available to win if the challenge is completed in 8 days, after 7-May the HENNESSEY VENOM GT can be purchased.
Can I buy the car?[]
The HENNESSEY VENOM GT has been added to Hypercar Charge and Breakneck Legends bonus series in the Legend group.
This vehicle can be acquired for 950 760 with showcase discount.
“ | You have been lent a HENNESSEY VENOM GT All upgrades, customizations and VIP will remain on the car permanently, whether you acquire it from this event or buy it later. |

What is the minimum PR / upgrades required[]
RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race):
Since Generations slowing the bots has not worked, if the players car is far below the recommended PR level the bots run impossible times. Once the car is upgraded the bots return to normal times. Possible upgrade strategies:
No. | Description | Upgrade | R$ | |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Upgrade the car with R$ and pay (30/40/50 ) to skip impossible goals | E1,D1,B1,S2,E1,B1,T&W1 | 1,175,400 | ~0-300+ |
2 | Upgrade the car with R$ then only the upgrades that give top speed and/or acceleration, leaving the grip and breaking upgrades (suspension and tires&wheels). | E4,D4,B4,S2,E3,B1,T&W3 | 2,963,800 | 635 |
3 | Upgrade the car with R$ then buy upgrades as the PR increases | All Level 2 All Level 3 |
1,175,400 1,711,400 |
325 765 |
4 | Upgrade the car with R$ then , then R$ until PR93 is reached. Maybe -2 Engine!! | E4,D4,B4,S3,E3,B3,T&W3 | 3,207,400 | 765 |
5 | Fully upgrade the car | Fully Upgraded | 4,468,200 | 995 |
Note: R$ upgrades for tier 3,4 & 6 are 2 days each! There is a possibility of reducing the upgrade time by 30% by watching a video. The fully upgrade time is 4 days 12 hours, without video assistance.

I finished with PR93.3, 24/26 -2 Engine, this was always the plan, as this is the requirement for BL, however I found stage 08, in particular 8.5 & 8.6 very challenging.

Oh yes! Oh yes! Oh yes! I won the HENNESSEY VENOM GT. Only skipped 8.6 (the last goal of the last stage which is impossible to do with PR 84.4). Everything else I did without cheats or hacks.

Skipped 7.1 (even pause/resume hasn't allowed me to do it) Currently I am unable to do 8.5 & 8.6 without skip
8.5 best seen average speed was 269 (not talking about having at the end lol) 8.6 441 can be reached when crashing into barrier at the end of first long straight (but it can be done without going offtrack when done carefully ;) Unfortunately cannot reach that speed in any other place (max speed of car is 448)
Will try 8.5 few times as I still have >24h but expect to use 80 to skip what will make this car still for a half price (120 skip cost + some updates)

Others were possible - some required sh*tload of time..
PS. I have filed a support ticket to get my 80 back as texts were misleading for kmh thresholds - it does not cost ;)

- 1.1 1:01 v 1:02 JKR offline bot #27, easy first race.
- 1.2 1.2 0:36.5 v 0:36.9 LOLOLOL offline bot #26, I ran this a few times to slow the bots, with no effect, LOLOLOL was fixed.
- 1.3 2:26 v 2:33 Zoé, I was an average of 184 mph at the line. I hit the wall a few times, currently 6 red bars of damage remaining. Maybe my bot slowing has worked, as Zoé was slow.

No upgrades for stage 1 or 2, hence PR80.4 0/26
1.1 Won easily despite hitting the walls. This car does not have the grip to match its power! Didn't try to slow the bots other than winning by only modest margins.
1.2 Won easily, didn't try to slow the bots, did try to win by modest margins.
1.3 As the goal was to finish at least 2nd and with an average of 184 mph, I essentially drafted Zoe. Mistake - she wasn't fast enough so I had to repeat. On my second run passed Zoe and kept my average down to 184 mph and a smidge.
Thanks to my repeat of 1.3 car was fully damaged. Decided to see how far I could get on stage 2 anyway...

- 2.1 1st 3:06.5 v 3:07 Propeller Factory offline bot #36, waited for the green lights, paused, quit and retry a few times, bot changed from Oddly (#25 normal bot) to Propeller Factory (#36 easy bot), used all remaining bars, car now fully trashed. Brakes high, still passed PF at the cork screw on lap 1.
- 2.2 1st v Propeller Factory offline bot #36, tried some more bot slowing, bot was fixed with Propeller Factory!! I reached Propeller Factory in turn 5, going up the hill, sat on his tail until the counter reached 60, it was an accumulative, not continual tailgate, so quite easy, even with a trashed car with brakes high, so not to smash into the bot.
- 2.3: 1st vs Tanaka, in a BUGATTI VEYRON 16.4 GSV. with a rolling start, the first sight I had of the bot was around turn 1, he was 220 yds away, in turn 2, cought him in the corkscrew on lap 1, instant green flag :) the recommended PR81.8 v my PR80.4 made no difference, car was still fully trashed, so serviced.

Stage 02 Goal Quotes from Eric:
- Goal 01: "I've fixed up your handling a bit to let you make those corners tighter. Give it a test - you shouldn't go off track for more than 5 seconds. If you do, I guess the changes need to be more 'user friendly'?"
- Interpretation is that the game is suggesting that you make handling upgrades to the base car, i.e. Suspension, Brakes, and Wheels and Tires
- Goal 02: "O... K... Give this one a shot - against some unmodified models. This will be an elimination event, so to win tailgate 1st place within 22 yd (20 m) for 60 seconds! Thanks to my work, it should be pretty easy for you...
- Interpretation is that you will need to make upgrades to this car to win the Special Event. I don't think that FM is giving you a way around this one. The HENNESSEY VENOM GT doesn't fit their philosophy of Grip trumps Speed, and the first three stages have pointed that out.
- This Goal proved to be difficult for me, even though I had made handling upgrades. In eliminations 60 seconds is a long time, so you have to get to second very quickly, which is difficult if your car keeps sliding off of the track
- Goal 03: "Everything's looking great. Just one more test today - I want to see if your acceleration can be squeezed any more, so you're going to need to try recovering from a major set back and winning. Got it?"
- Interpretation here is that if you slide off the track you are going to pay with needing to make up a lot of distance as competitors drive away from you. You need to learn to manage the speed and keep the car on the track.
212.159.46.223 wrote:
2.1 Won comfortably, but with a modest margin, with cautious braking and no off-track at all.
2.2 Only just managed this as with a non-upgraded and fully damaged car I couldn't keep in touch on the straights. Just about managed to rack up 60 seconds of drafting through the corners, and took the lead with a few seconds left.
2.3 Failed at the first attempt as I was careless and slid off too much. On the second attempt I was less careless but still a bit clumsy, and caught the Veyron just before the corkscrew on the last lap.
So, day 2 completed with no upgrades and with the car fully damaged. As that was unlikely to last into day 3 I serviced and ordered stage 1 upgrades on brakes and tyres only - to sort out the grip issues a bit.

- Goal 01: "The increased speed of the Venom has a habit of making it unwieldy, so we'll start there. Finish the first lap or the second lap whilst leading by at least 219 yd (200 m).
- Interpretation is to spend your upgrades on Handling first and then only add Drivetrain upgrades as necessary. Personally, I am concerned that if you max out the power of the car that it will make it handle worse than the base model did before any handling upgrades.
The rest of the quotes for this stage back up the idea that Grip is more important that outrageous speed. FM is basically showing us, if we didn't know it already, that skidding and going off track are very costly errors to make in the game.

3.1 Easily achieved on the first lap, kept the winning margin close-ish to 220 yards.
3.2 Another easy win, kept the winning margin low but still no active bot management.
3.3 An easy win with no skids at all thanks to very cautious braking.
3.4 Drove this clumsily first time, and had two skids - but as both were 2 seconds long, got the red fail flag. Repeated and still drove clumsily, but better. Used all 3 skids on the first lap and then with very cautious braking stayed in front, but never as far ahead as I'd have liked. Finished exactly 220 yards ahead not due to skill or judgement but just because that was as far ahead as I could get.
Serviced and ordered suspension level 1 to help with grip, and engine/drivetrain/body level 1 so that I can access whichever of those have a subsequent R$ upgrade, and a long wait time, later.

- 4.2 - Daytona oval, rolling start, 4 laps. Need to reach 424 kph 4 times and overlap an opponent (if you satisfy both goals you win before the 4th lap). Previous bot management worked as a charm (Propeller Factory was the 1st in grid). PR 84.8, tilt B, high brakes, high steering, traction control on.
- 4.3 - Autocross, Daytona street. PerturB with 40.016s. PR 84.8, tilt B, high brakes, high steering, traction control on.
- 4.4 - Daytona street, night, 2 laps. Have to win and also the fastest lap time. PR 84.8 (game suggests 85.2), tilt B, high brakes, high steering, traction control on. I think it might be done with an unserviced car. Propeller Factory started at 1st due to successful bot management.

- 4.1 3.5 mi v 2.4 mi Propeller Factory offline bot #36, My goal was set so low, I couldn’t reach the necessary 137 mph average speed within that distance. As soon as I did hit the average, I slammed into the wall to stop and sat there until time ran out (seemed like an eternity). Goal passed, but at a farther distance than I’d have preferred.
- 4.2 Propeller Factory offline bot #36, Not used to this car’s handling on the oval yet, had a tough time recovering after hitting the wall on seemingly every corner. I lapped a bot on the 3rd lap, but hadn’t met the 3rd or 4th speed goals yet. Once I hit the 4th goal, on the 4th lap, the race ended with the green banner. Got a little tough since I was making my way through lapped traffic as well. Best to get in your speed goals as early as you can.
- 4.3 48.823 v 49.016 I didn’t catch which offline bot I was racing against here, but it appears to be a fixed goal anyhow. My first attempt, I cut it too close and finished at 49.089 and failed. 2nd attempt, I slowed at the finish and logged 48.823 to win.
- 4.4 3:08.392 v 3:41.471 mintCrystal offline bot #34, Hard to know how fast you need to go on these type of events. Not the best for bot management. Since I was stuck in traffic the 1st lap (plus it was the 1st lap), I went faster on the 2nd lap to compensate. I did switch the brake assist to high and even slowed a bit here and there hoping to not set too fast a time. Judging by the finish time for 2nd place, I could have slowed quite a bit more. Hopefully it won’t affect the bots too much for the future days.

- 4.1 Goal was only 4.4 miles despite no active bot management. On my first attempt I hit too many Veyrons and both failed to reach the required average speed and covered enough miles to get me into the red damage, just. Repeated with the damage I had and managed to avoid enough Veyrons this time. Reached the required average within the 4.4 miles then stopped and waited out the clock. As others have said, it is only necessary to have reached the required average, once you've done that you can let it drop as low as you like and still pass the challenge. Serviced as car now fully damaged and incapable of reaching the speed target for 4.2.
- 4.2 Couldn't reach the target speed with 5 L1 upgrades, so panicked and ordered the final two L1 upgrades. Ordered two L2 upgrades as well (tires and body). Retried the next day with, now, 9/26 upgrades and at PR85.2 above recommended PR. The speed target was very easy, so much so that I don't believe I needed all my upgrades. Still hit a lot of walls in the corners and spent a lot of time sliding in the infield. Lapped a car towards the end of lap 4 so got the green flag. Finished in 3rd place but still passed the challenge. Used 15 bars of damage.
- 4.3 Won narrowly despite driving badly. Used 2 bars damage.
- 4.4 Had a couple of tries at this. Won very easily when I managed to stay on track. Tried to limit my lead on the last lap but still won by a large margin so will likely pay the price on day 5. Car trashed, serviced.

Goal 5.2: Speed Record - Mount Panorama - Win this event (without map)
RR3 Michael P Wrote:
Standard Speed Record, just no map, this track is straight forward and has been around for years, the quickest point is down the mountain, if the goal is high turn brake assist off.
Goal 5.3: Cup at Mount Panorama [1 lap] - Win in under 2:02 and with a top speed limit of 187 mph (300kph)
Note: Do not exceed the above speeds
RR3 Michael P Wrote:
Drive around and win under 2:02, so no taking time, again maintain the speed in the corners will be key, as any speed in excess of 187 mph is normally red flagged. I kept braking when I had 170 mph. 2:02 was no problem, even with R$ upgrades I could do under 2 min.
Goal 5.4: Speed Snap at Mount Panorama - Win this event in less than 25 seconds
RR3 Michael P Wrote:
No bot slowing, upgrading does slow the bots!!
Goal 5.5: Cup at Mount Panorama - Win this event (without overheating engine)
RR3 Michael P Wrote (pre-race):
This means lifting and coasting to not overheat the engine, there is a display at the bottom of the screen, it goes up as the accelerator is used, and down when it is lifted or braking, the trick is to lift slightly earlier than you would normally brake, the car will naturally slow, coast around the corners, trying not to skid, to maintain speed, then blast down the straights. If it isn't the default Tilt B is normally required. I parked in turn 4 to block the bots and completely cool the car, see picture.
ZekkeRJ report:
Day 5, five stages.
- 5.1 - (Cup, Mount Panorama, 2 laps, recommended pr 85.6) Win this race overtaking 22 cars.
Analysis: There are 21 opponents in the race, you have to pass at least one of them twice.
- 5.2 - (Speed record, Mount Panorama, recommended pr 86.0) Win this race without map.
Analysis: Mount Panorama have a loooooong straight, downhill. But, still, you have to do the last corner before it very well; and you have to do the first corner after it better yet. I had to beat 404 (bot: Bronson G.); done 419, turning off break assists.
- 5.3 - (Cup, Mount Panorama, recommended pr 86.4) Win with time below 2:02 without passing 197 mph/300Km/h.
Analysis: My car is trashed, what about giving it a try without service? Wow! Got some retries, but it worked. Final time: 1:53.373, PR 84.8 (only R$ upgrades).
- 5.4 - (Speed snatch, Mount Panorama, recommended pr 86.7) Win this race in less than 25 seconds.
Analysys: Time isn't problem, In the first try I finished 6th it with ~ 24s, unserviced car. But my bots leveled up significantly. Had to service the car and give it a GC update (transmission) to reach 404Km/h and beat StayFrosty. Hard times ahead. my PR now: 85.4.
- 5.5 - (Cup, Mount Panorama, 3 laps, recommended pr 87.2) Win this race without overheating engine.

- 5.1 - Mount Panorama, 2 laps, PR 85.6, Turnipage - overtake 22 cars and win. Tilt B, steering high, traction on, brakes high, PR 86.9. It might be done with an unserviced car.
- 5.2 - Mount Panorama, speed record, PR 86.0 - beat the 1st opponent with no map. Bronson Guthry, 404.3 kph. Tilt B, steering high, traction on, brakes low, PR 86.9.
- 5.3 - Mount Panorama, 1 lap, PR 86.4, Turnipage - win in less than 2min02s without going over 300 kph or 187 mph. Tilt B, steering high, traction on, brakes low, PR 86.9. It might be done with an unserviced car.
- 5.4 - Mount Panorama, speed snap, PR 86.7, HoodooVoodoo 403.21 kph - win in less than 25 seconds. Tilt B, steering low, traction off, brakes off, PR 88.0 (1 engine, 1 gearbox, 2 body, 2 suspension, 2 exhaust, 3 brakes 3 wheels). I had to upgrade body and exhaust to level 2 due to insanely high target (86.9 gave me, squeezing the Venon with all assists off, nothing more than 402 kph—and the initial target was 405.1 kph by MiceOrMan, which came down after a device reboot).
- 5.5 - Mount Panorama, 3 laps, PR 87.2, Fishmang - win managing an overheated engine. Tilt B, steering high, traction on, brakes high, PR 88.0.
That's all for now. I wish you all lower targets and lotsa fun!

- 5.1 4:14.864 v 4:15.267 JKR offline bot #27, 2 Lap Cup on Mt. Panorama with a goal to win and pass 22 opponents - 1st attempt, was in 3rd at end of 2nd lap, force-quite restart. I hit a lot of cars and spun out a few times on the first lap, spent the last 1.5laps getting back up to 3rd after falling back to 22nd after being in maybe 10th. Every new track is like re-learning it again; the handling and braking on this car are unlike any other with its poor brakes and tail happy nature. Not a fun car to drive for me. 2nd attempt, way different story, was in 1st place by 2nd corner (top of the hill). I let JKR pass me and then I took him out. Held up the cars for a little bit (maybe 10sec), kept messing with the bots until the last half lap, then I made sure to keep the lead and I slowed to close the gap. I finished 16yds ahead of Jack Knife to win.
- 5.2 251.34 mph v 250.6 mph PerturB offline bot #21, Speed Record at Mt. Panorama with no map – I know this track extremely well, so no map was no problem at all. I turned off brake assist before the long downhill just to be safe, but I hit 250 mph pretty easily anyhow and slammed the brakes as soon as I saw it pass, flipped the brake assist back to Low and finished the lap. Car is ready for servicing by this point (should have used the mechanic for 5.1). I serviced the car and will continue later. Unfortunately, no ads were available to shorten the service time.
- 5.3 1:52.029 v 1:54.421 oooo! offline bot #24, 1 Lap of Mt. Panorama, beating 2:02 without going over 187 mph. I won pretty easily on my first try. Was in first place just after the first corner and stayed there the whole time. I just watched the speedometer and tried not to exceed 187 mph (though I’m positive I saw 187 flash up once or twice, so I cut it close). I even slowed at the end because I was about 4-500yds ahead and had some time to kill.
- 5.4 251.33 mph v 250.4 mph (and 251.3 mph) stayFrosty offline bot #5, Speed Snap at Mt. Panorama, finish in less than 25seconds as well. The time is not a problem at all, it’s there purely to keep players from backing up, or turning around, or otherwise “gaming” the race. They want you to do it honestly and that’s how they are managing it this time. I tried 10 times before winning, including one attempt at 251.13 mph, so close!! I tried with various combinations of TC On/Off, Brakes Low/Off and I was continually around 249-251, but could not get to 251.3 mph. On my 11th attempt, I bit the bullet and bought the Brakes and T&W GC upgrades for 95GC total, I’m positive I’ll need them to finish anyhow. Bumped me up to PR 85.9 10/26. This time, I needed to hit 250.4 mph (against HoodooVoodoo instead of stayFrosty) and I trapped 251.33 mph with the TC Off (Brakes still on Low).
So, we have yet another event where FM has made it such that if you upgrade your car, they give you easier goals. Such a sham, but it seems to be their M.O. these days. Also, don’t be concerned about the bots on these fixed-goal events. You’re getting tougher bots because the goals are fixed; you go back to your regular bots for other events. Note that my bots on 5.2 and 5.4 are difficult (with fixed goals), but on 5.1, 5.3, and 5.5 they are back to the easier ones.
- 5.5 5:48.946 v 5:49.314 JKR offline bot #27, 3 Lap Cup at Mt. Panorama without overheating the engine. Failed 1st attempt, on the 2nd lap I overheated the engine. I was doing pretty good keeping the bots from passing me, but 2 got by me and in my attempt to catch them, I lost track of the temp and blew it. This one may prove tough, the bots are on my tail the whole time and keeping them behind me on the straights is the toughest part. HaHa, maybe I spoke too soon! 2nd attempt was a completely different story! I did switch to Tilt B so I did not have to brake every time I needed to cool the engine. This probably made the difference, but it was night and day for sure. I even got a bad start and had to play catch-up, but I was still in 1st at the top of the hill and I could stay there easily. I even literally coasted about ¾ of the way down the downhill straight and was still almost 200yds ahead at the bottom. I kept the temp gauge in the lower half the whole race and I kept slowing to take out other bots, but I could catch them easily if they did get by me. I slowed at the end and finished about 15yds ahead of 2nd place (which was Existent, JKR was back in 6th).

Post Stage breakdown – I think I held my own pretty well considering I was behind the recommended PR the whole time. I did have to buy 2 GC upgrades in order to pass 5.4, but I am positive they’ll be needed anyhow. Plus, they both unlocked additional R$ upgrades, which I meant to kick off, but forgot to. I'll have to do it once Stage 6 opens up. I’m expecting to have to add more GC upgrades as well, but I’ll do them on an as-needed basis. Car is servicing, onward to Stage 6!

- 5.1 Still on 9/26 upgrades, PR85.2. Overtook everyone , then allowed PerturB to pass and repassed him until I had the 22 overtakes. Was doing fine until RealRacing stopped responding to tilt, slammed me into a wall, and then crashed entirely. On repeating I must have slowed enough into turn 1 that four cars repassed me as after the turn I'd reached 20/22 passes with three cars in front. Passed them in turn 2 and cruised home, reducing my winning margin before the line to ~250 yards. Used 11 bars damage.
- 5.2 Target was Bronson Guthry's 251.1 mph. Easily hit this on the downhill before the brakes would have come on even with brake assist set to low. Used 6 bars of damage.
- 5.3 Switched to Tilt B for this one to help avoid excessive speed. 2:02 is plenty of time - I finished in 1:47 without trying too hard. Oops. 7 bars damage, with just one red bar left. Serviced as the car isn't capable of reaching 5.4's target speed.
- 5.4 Target 251.03 mph. The 25 second time limit is irrelevant as even a fully trashed car can manage that, if not the speed target. Couldn't get beyond 249.6. Added brakes L2 to give PR85.7 10/26 and the target reduced to 250.43, managed to reach 250.94 after several tries, so maybe if I had persevered I'd have managed the original target!
- 5.5 Switched to Tilt B again. Was in first place after turn 2 and cruising with the engine only warm. Built up a huge lead and rolled most of the way downhill to the finish on the final lap to complete ~200 yards ahead. LOLOLOL behind me was on 5:31.
Interesting. I've not been actively slowing the bots, and that shows, but also there hasn't been an event yet where slower bots would have made any difference. Probably still to come!

6.5 Same with 6.4. Keep near the middle but closer to the wall (because offtrack is instant red flag). It's annoying because the steering will change close to a turn. Tap the brakes as soon as you hear the rattling OR when you're about 200m away from the turn after the straights. If you don't skid a lot, there's plenty of time to spare even when you brake early.
Reports
ZekkeRJ report:
Day 6, 5 stages.
- 6.1 - (Elimination, Indy/Speedway, recommended pr 87.5) Win this without damaging your car.
Analysis: New bots, Zoe's finally here. The car handling is as bad as always (PR 85.4). Easy on the throttle, pass them one by one.
- 6.2 - (CUp, Indy/Speedway, 3 laps, recommended pr 87.9) Do the fastest lap and win this race without going offtrack.
Analysis: The car is fast enough, but the poor handling is killing me. Throwing a GC update (tires). PR now 86.0. Done, time to service the car and watch some ads. And throw the last R$ tire upgrade (more ads). PR now, 86.5.
- 6.3 - (Speed Record, Indy/Speedway, recommended pr 88.3) Win this race without sliding, low brake assist.
Analysis: target 436Km/h. Not fast enough. Throwing two GC (exhausts and body). Target dropped to 435.1Km/h. Damn FM. Done. PR now 87.6.
- 6.4 - (Cup, Indy/Speedway, 3 laps, recommended pr 88.8). Win this race in less than 2:05 without going offtrack.
Analysis: Again, not fast enough. Throwing one more GC update (motor). Done with 2s lasting. PR now 88.1.
- 6.5 - (Cup, Indy/Speedway, 4 laps, recommended pr 89.2) Win this race with reduced acceleration, less than 2:55, without going offtrack.
Analysis: Jammed steering also. They could advise this before. Doing the unthinkable: I'll skip that. I need some sleep.

- 6.1 - Elimination Race against Zoe at Indianapolis Speedway, no damage allowed – No problem, beat it first attempt. Caught up to Zoe halfway through lap 1, and stayed ahead easily. Slowed to roughly 30yds by the time the time ran out to close the gap. No bot management attempted since I didn’t want to cause damage and fail.
- 6.2 2:34.968 v 2:36.064 - 3 Lap Cup event at Indianapolis Speedway with no off-track allowed, also need to set the fastest lap – New bots, not same as offline bots. I bought the mechanic to keep from servicing. Won first try easily, set a quick lap with my 2nd lap, then turned all assists to high and coasted around the 3rd lap, slowed to close the gap at the finish as well.
- 6.3 48.823 v 271.1 mph - Speed Record at Indianapolis Speedway, no skidding, Brake Assist Low – Racing against these new Team Bots again. Appears to be another GC sink level with a fixed goal. With 10/26 upgrades, PR 85.9 I can get to right about 270 mph, but can’t slow for the turn without skidding. Failed multiple times in a row. Gave it maybe 12-15 attempts before deciding to try throwing on another GC upgrade (Engine-2). Target speed dropped to 270.6 mph. First try after the upgrade and I passed the target speed, but then skidded out trying to slow for the turn. I tried a few more times and then was able to pass with a speed of 271.07 mph and without skidding (Brake Assist Off, TC Off, Steering Low). Now sitting at 11/26, PR 86.4. I had to service, will complete 6.4 & 6.5 in the morning.
- 6.4 2:03.123 v 2:05 - 3 Lap Cup at Indy Speedway, must complete 3 laps within 2:05 without going off-track. - You start in the lead and have to work through some lapped traffic. I was able to do it on my first try, but it did require me to push a bit. Granted, I did tag the wall a few times as well. Could have made a little better time, but not too much.
- 6.5 2:53.987 v 2:55 – 4 lap Cup at Indy Speedway with an issue affecting acceleration and steering that goes side-to-side. - Similar to 6.4, but must complete 4 laps in 2:55 without going off-track. Also start in 1st place and have to work through lapped traffic. Tough, but I did it on my first attempt. As expected, the steering issue is the hardest part to deal with, it sent me into the wall and handful of times. I managed to make it through though. Just have to be prepared and conserve speed as much as you can if/when you get sent into the wall.

I budgeted for that based on how FM is running these events now. Daytona tomorrow! Let’s see how this car handles the steep banks!
Bremm75 Report
6.1 - Indy Speedway, PR 87.5, Zoé - win an elimination with no damage. Tilt B, steering high, traction on, brakes high, PR 88.0. It might be done with an unserviced car.
6.2 - Indy Speedway, 3 laps, PR 87.9, Team Stars USA Flag - win with the fastest lap without going off track. Tilt B, steering high, traction on, brakes high, PR 88.0. It might be done with an unserviced car.
6.3 - Indy Speedway, speed record, PR 88.3, Team Nice 435,12 kph - win with low brakes assists without skidding. Tilt B, steering high, traction off, brakes low, PR 88.6. (I had to upgrade gearbox to level 2)
6.4 - Indy Speedway, 3 laps, PR 88.8 - win in less than 2min05s without going off track. Tilt B, steering high, traction on, brakes low, PR 88.6. I had to go slow near the end to kill some time.
6.5 - Indy Speedway, 4 laps, PR 89.2 - win in less than 2min55s without going off track, a mild engine failure and (an annoying) damaged steering. Tilt B, steering high, traction on, brakes low, PR 89.1 (now all level 2 but brakes, wheels level 3). Hint: release the throttle when the noise comes, try to countersteer and don't hit the brakes like a mad man—it's possible to do with no big issues. You can also lower the steering sensitivity. Keep yourself between center and right lanes just in case. I had a laugh myself after hitting the wall twice near the finish line

Tip for day 6, stage 5: took me ages.
It's not a race, although there are 1 or 2 other cars on track you have to avoid. You just have to do 4 laps in 2.55 (rolling start)
I normally drive with manual settings, tilt B and no assists but found it absolutely impossible. Car was being thrown all over the place. Red banners galore.
I found it MUCH easier (bordering on the "doable") when I switched to Tilt A, traction control on, steering assist & brake assists low. The swerves were much less violent, and easier to control.
-as soon as the car starts to swerve, slightly tap the brakes and bring it under control
-brake before the corners too. Avoid skidding and sliding wide in the turns.

Here is my report:
My assists break off, sterring low, tc on, sensitivity 5, Tilt A. Device OS Android.
6.1 very easy did it in 1st attempt.
6.2 still easy did in first try. My best time was 43.640
6.3 Hard goal. i tried about 6 times finally get 436.5 speed which is required speed. I went reverse on track then i achieve this speed on main straight without skid and used wall for breaking but it's need some luck keep car straightly so you can't skid after hitting wall.
6.4 again easy did in first try. Time was 02:03.670.
6.5 Hard goal. I did it in 3rd try first time my time was 02:56.652 so close in second try go offtrack but in 3rd try did it. Time was 02:53.351.Whenever i feel something in steering moving i immediately tap on breaks. All done.
Remember my car's PR for all goals was 84.8 only R$ upgrades. So conclusion is upto stage 6 all can be done with 84.8 PR only R$ upgrades. Now waiting for last two stages. Here my some photos of goal 3:

7.5 can be done with an unserviced car (PR 88.4). I had trouble staying on the track during the skids until I figured out the trick. Start with TC off. Go into the turn at full speed, and skid along the outer wall for a while. Just as you start to slip off the wall and head into the infield, pause and turn TC back on. Then you can get the car back under control. Then turn TC off again and repeat until you have 20 seconds of skid.
Goal 7.6: Cup at Daytona International Speedway (Night) - Speedway [2 laps] - Place at least 3rd 2nd whilst skidding 5 times and tailgate an opponent within 50 yd (46 m) for the entire third lap (Rolling Start) - Recommended PR91.4

For 7.6: Before end of 2nd Lap, try slightly slide with 2nd car to doing skidding, at the same time avoid pitting it or overtake it.
Once hit 5 skids, just tailgate it till the end.
Someone need to try out which Brake, Steering & TC setting produce the best result.

Despite what 7.6 says, you have to finish 2nd. Not 3rd.

Bremm75 Report:
- 7.1 - Daytona, drag race, PR 89.5 - be 2nd or 1st. Target insanely high. I had to upgrade to PR 91.2 and i couldn't beat Zoé. Bot management didn't work for this. One might beat her time with a PR 93.3 Venom. Who knows?
- 7.2 - Daytona, 3 laps, Propeller Factory, PR 89.8 - follow an opponent within 20 m or 22 yd for 45s and win. Tilt A, all assists high.
- 7.3 - Daytona, 1 lap, Fontana, PR 90.2 - follow an opponent within 20 m or 22 yd for 1 lap. Tilt A, all assists high but traction control off.
- 7.4 - Daytona, elimination, Propeller Factory, PR ?? - skid for 5 times and win. Tilt B, all assists high.
- 7.5 - Daytona, 2 laps, PR 91.0 - skid for 20s and win. Tilt B, all assists high. It can be done with an unserviced car for sure.
- 7.6 - Daytona, 3 laps, Propeller Factory, 91.4 - skid 5 times and follow an opponent within 46 m or 50 yd by entire 3rd lap. Tilt A, all assists high. It can be done with an unserviced car for sure.
Side note: all races were done with PR 91.2 and somehow an engine upgrade level 2 vanished from my Venom. So I had to spend more 65 coins and I filled a trouble ticket at FM customer support.
That's all for the moment. Best wishes!

PR 90.5 with two R$ upgrades pending in 16 hours. I'm down to 7GC left. If the next update is unwinnable without GC upgrades, then goodbye RR3 for me. I'm currently addicted to This War of Mine anyway.
7.1 Got to 2nd place easy.
7.2 Took me a couple of tries. I ended up starting with low brakes to get near the front, then switched to high brakes and tailgated the 2nd place car. Didn't have to go back to low brakes to win.
7.3 Took me 17 minutes (according to last cloud save) so maybe 10 tries? Short, repeated taps on the brakes during the turns did it for me. Had to be careful not to get behind as the lead car heads for the straights.
7.4 Didn't need to turn off traction control, the car is horrible with handling as it is. Started with low brakes and got to 1st quickly. Skidding 5 times is easy. Then switched to high brakes and let morkRING catch up a bit (won with him 20m behind).
7.5 Low brakes, traction control on. Just kept skidding but avoiding the wall. Got overtaken on the 2nd lap but managed to get back on top and finish the last 5 seconds of skidding.
7.6 Doable with a completely unserviced car but took a few tries, low brakes Got to 4th place then did the 5 skids by the end of the straight, then moved up to 2nd place by the second lap. Had to bump the lead car because I'm unserviced and got left behind a few times during the 3rd lap straights.

I did Stage 7 with PR of 90
- 7.1 is just about the start, tried the tricks but dosent work for me...so i just made a good start by myself. Took a few tries...
- 7.2 needed a 2 tries to learn where the bots accelerates, after that no problem at all
- 7.3 no problem, the same as before...
- 7.4 a joke, moises gabby at the start...so skidded while getting in first place then flew away and parked to have a smaller gap
- 7.5 allready learnd where to skid, so made the 20 sec in the first lap and finsihed with a small gap
- 7.6 the second hardest, just because i am so much faster in the corners, would be eaiser if it would show the distance...but won in the first try with s little bit of luck...
Looking forward for the last day, sounds hard. Lets see how far i can get with my pr...
HardikVegeta Report:
Stage 7 Done with 87.7 PR 14 upgrades. Device OS : Android. I did engine and body upgrades.
My assists : Tilt A, Low Break, Low Steering, TC on, Sensitivity 5.
Here is my report:
- 7.1 : First of all simply this drag race goal is impossible with only R$ upgrades 84.8 PR. Due to low PR low acceleration and low top speed upgrades are needed. I tried with only R$ upgrades 84.8 PR with perfect launches at green lights but Mclaren P1 GTR is too fast and go ahead like rocket no chance with 84.8 PR. Bots and it's times ae fixed so slow down bots not working. Finally i decided to upgrade car. Smartly i upgraded Engine and Body because they both upgrades give more acceleration and top speed. So did upto Engine 4 and Body 4 upgrades. Now 87.7 PR and 14 upgrades. Then raced in event and got second place in first attempt with perfect launches at green lights. After first goal my car's PR was 87.7 and 14 upgrades.
- 7.2 : Easy not hard. i did it in my second attempt. Key is perfect exit from corners behind opponent so you taligate within required distance If your corners exits are good then no problem on straights but bad exit and opponent go more ahead easily. I did it. Still same PR.
- 7.3 : Easy. I did it in 1st attempt. Just more concentrate when you have to tap breaks slightly and also if you did previous goal with not much problems then this goal is easy for you. Still same PR.
- 7.4 : Very Easy. I did it in 1st attempt. Still same PR.
- 7.5 : Easy not hard. I did it in 2nd attempt. Remember try to skid more in corners with high speed you can easily do it without much problems. Still same PR.
- 7.6 : Very easy because taligate distance is high compared to previous taligate distance. Goal description is wrong you have to finish second. I did it in 1st attempt. Still same PR.
Finally stage 7 done with 87.7 PR 14 upgrades. Now waiting for last stage. I am happy to do engine and body upgrades despite it's little costly compare to breaks and tires but performance wise it's good specially next stage's goals are on le mans where speed and acceleration matters.
Conclusion : This event can't completed or doable with only R$ upgrades even if you are no.1 player in global leaderboard in WTTT because some goals are totally based on UPGRADES not on Skills more on upgrades than skill. If you wanna complete this event with only R$ upgrades 84.8 PR then you have to skip more goals. From my point of view Upgrading is better than skipping if you have 300 to 400 golds. By the way i have enough golds. So no problem at all.
I hope that my report and advices help players on this wiki. Now waiting for last stage i will definitely shared last day report..

Tips
Goal 8.1: Cup at Circuit des 24 Heures (Evening) [1 lap] - Finish with both you and Norm in at least 5th place without going off track (Rolling Start with Brake Assist low or disabled) - Recommended PR91.8
RR3 Michael P wrote:
This one starts before the final chicane on the Mulsanne Straight, but you get an instant 1st place on crossing the line, on the rolling lap. So just over 1/2 a lap, I went straight down the left hand side and reached 1st in the chicane as the rolling start begins, then held up the bots in the turns and Norm was able to pass them. While holding up the bots they formed two lines, checked my mirror to see which line Norm was in, and let that line pass, he was then in 4th, easy :)
Goal 8.2: Head To Head at Circuit des 24 Heures (Evening) [1 lap] - Win this event and overtake Norm 8 times (Brake Assist low or disabled)- Recommended PR91.5
Goal 8.3: Cup at Circuit des 24 Heures [2 laps] - Finish in 2nd place with Norm in 1st place and keep behind Norm within 500 yd (457 m) (Rolling Start with Brake Assist low or disabled) - Recommended PR92.5

Norm doesn't need any help in 8.3. I accidentally passed him on my first try and got a red banner, but I noticed he came in first. On my second try I followed him to see what he would do. To my surprise, he slowly passed one car at a time. We were 2nd and 3rd after the sharp left turn after the 2nd time stamp. 1st place was no where in sight until the last chicane before the start finish line and Norm chased him down. We got into 1st and 2nd and completed the race. There was one short time Norm stalled behind someone once he got going, he wouldn't pass the car, so I got on his tail end and he moved to the side like all the cars do to let me pass. Once Norm got to the side it freed him up and he continued on his way passing cars.

Goal 8.5: Cup at Circuit des 24 Heures (Morning) [2 laps] - Win with no off track and reach the average speed of 171 mph (275 kph) (Brake Assist low or disabled) - Recommended PR93.3

DONE 8.5!! I need to get my heart rate down before doing 8.6, so here's how I did it.
1st, I'm at PR 93.3 and it was still very hard. Took me about 25 tries. I ran steering high, brakes low, traction on, steering sensitivity on 2.
Off the start, stay on the inside. Pass everyone by the first sharp left-hand corner. My first place bot was always JKR or Jack Knife.
Compared to LMP1 cars, you need to brake earlier and more often. I had to brake in many places that I usually don't.
On corners that you can run flat out, take them as wide as possible. Time isn't the issue, speed is. So you need to run the longest line.
I hit average speed by the first straight, but maintaining it is hard. Finished at 279 kph average, about 4,000m ahead of 2nd!
RR3 Michael P wrote:
8.5, Finally did it! PR93.3. 5:54.4, just made it! I had to cloud save on my NOX and then restore on my old Huld. Buttons on the NOX didn't work, Tilt B worked on my Hudl, lifting the accelerator to coast around the turns, maintained the speed, the trick is to still stay on track. I lost track of how many attempts.

Finished 8.5 with a confortable margin in avarage speed. I think I had like 4+ extra miles in average speed. Here is my time, fully upgraded car. Brakes off, TC off, low steering
Goal 8.6: Cup at Circuit des 24 Heures (Night) [2 laps] - Win with no off track and reach a top speed of 274 mph (440 441 kph) 4 times (Brake Assist low or disabled) - Recommended PR93.3

For those with low PR (mine is PR90.6) that want to clear 8.6, try to achieve 3x440kph in the first Mulsanne Straight of first lap, then another one in 2nd lap here. :)
With brake assist off (maybe TC off too?), brake immediately and short once Venom hits 440kph, try make this 3 times before the car hits the wall, then make the 4th one on the 2nd lap. This sounds stupid, but I achieved a total of 3x440kph!! Now still trying. Let me know if you have made it. Lets make this the last fun before skipping and win the car at lower GC cost. lol.
IanMRick wrote: As above I am only PR 90.4, had to skip 8.5 as could not get the average speed high enough but thought the skip was a cheaper option than the upgrade route. Managed 8.6 by dabbing the brake on the main long straight and got the 274 mph 3 times before crashing into the wall with brake assist off. Took a few goes as it throws you off track some times when you hit the wall. That left one more time on lap 2 which is simple. Glad to persevere as it meant 40 gold still in pocket And feels good to end with a win rather than a skip. P.S. Sorry if my post is messy this is the first, thought it would be good to contribute as I have had such good use from the site. Any tips to post better would be welcome!

- 8.3 This one is tricky, I had many attempts, either I would PIT norm or myself. The trick is to be agressive at the start to push Norm off line, he will then pass the bots in the turns. He only needs a nudge with teh fastest bots.

Cup Race at Le Mans, though you start about halfway through a lap, so it isn’t too long of an event. Have to get yourself and Norm up to at least 5th place, no off-track allowed. – I tried this one about 5-7 times before I beat it. My plan was to drive ahead and PIT bots to give Norm a chance to catch up and pass them. Problem is, I often ended up crashing myself and going off-track. Eventually, I got a clean lap. I was taking out cars and I came upon one of the chicanes (forget which one) and a bunch of bots were slowed there. Thankfully, Norm managed to make his way through that pack and was in 5th place. Then, he did the unthinkable and actually passed another car too. Once he was in 4th, I passed into 5th and worked to hold off bots. This turned out to be very easy as I was gaining distance on them even as I was actively trying to slow down. I could barely see Norm in my sight ahead when we got near the finish. I was coasting along, sure to not go off-track. I finished and got the green banner. Since I had forgotten to service my car after stage 7, I was now in need of servicing. But, I decided to attempt 8.2 with an unserviced car. It’s only against Norm right?
- 8.2 3:58.222 v 3:58.819
Head to Head, 1 lap at Le Mans against Norm in a P1. Have to overtake Norm 8 times and win as well. 1st attempt, with an unserviced car, I figured I may have a chance against a P1. Naturally, Norm took off right away due to my need for servicing, but I kept going and did catch up to him just after Dunlop. Unfortunately, I also sent myself off into the sand and lost Norm. I then spent all of the Mulsanne straight catching back up to Norm instead of logging overtakes as I was expecting to. I kept pushing on, but I sent myself off-track a few more times and ended up force-quit restarting to try again. 2nd attempt, I made sure not to go off-track before Mulsanne and that made all the difference. Once on Mulsanne, I slowed to let Norm pass me, then took him out, slowed to let him catch up and did it again. Over and over all the way down Mulsanne. By the time I got to the Mulsanne corner, I had logged 6/8 overtakes. I picked up the other 2 on the next straight before Indianapolis. After that I coasted along and finished ahead of Norm by about 27yds, green banner.
- 8.3 6:51.059 (Norm) v. 6:54.681
2 lap Cup event at Le Mans, need to finish 2nd, with Norm in 1st and fall no further than 500yds back of Norm. I was still in need of servicing, but against a bunch of AGERAs and Norm in a P1, I felt comfortable. I made several attempts, but seemed to keep passing Norm and failing. I was trying to push Norm to get him to pass bots. Eventually, on about my 10th attempt, I got Norm to get into 5th by Mulsanne and I just kept following him. Through the rest of the 1st lap, I was 100-200yds behind Norm, but he was doing well on his own passing people. He got to 2nd by the end of the 1st lap, and I was in 3rd. I couldn’t see the 1st place car, but Norm tracked him down just after Dunlop and he was in 1st! The bot was aptly named Pit, because that’s what I did to him and Norm and I took off alone onto Mulsanne. I spent the remainder of the last lap, staying far enough behind Norm to make sure I didn’t pass him, but not far enough to worry about either. I finished about 280yds behind Norm and got the green banner! Still with an unserviced car.
- 8.4 226.52 mph v. 220.3 mph Moises Gabby offline bot #49,
Speed Snap event at Le Mans, must finish under 25sec. as well – I was quite surprised to see Moises Gabby here, let’s give it a try with this unserviced car and see what happens. 1st attempt, 204.06 mph. Hmm, maybe I’ll need to service after all lol! Gave it a few more attempts, but was still around 208-209 mph, not seeing a way to get to 220.3 with this unserviced car. Servicing now and will resume in the morning (it’s 3:45am for me, time for bed lol!). Ok, and back with a serviced car and some rest! 1st attempt, I skidded a bit coming onto Mulsanne and still managed to log a 208.53, I think I can do this if I get a clean run at it. Next attempts, 218.92 mph, close but no cigar. I thought I was good, but the car shifted gear right before the finish and the acceleration slowed. 3rd attempt after servicing, I turned TC Off and gave it a go, managed 226.52 mph and a green banner!
- 8.5 1:37.244 v 1:37.371 Modesto Lingerfelter offline bot #14, 2 Lap Cup event at Le Mans, win with no off-track and reach an average speed of 171 mph. – I turned TC back on for this attempt and bought the mechanic so I can race 8.6 without needing servicing. Took me several attempts to get to Mulsanne, It was tricky getting past most of the pack without hitting someone and getting sent off-track. I was really trying to keep my average up and not be hampered by having to slow for other cars lol! Once I did get to Mulsanne, I generally did fine, I know the track very well so no off-track isn’t much of an issue Unfortunately, with the upgrades I have, I just couldn’t get my average high enough to win. I could get it over 171 mph, but then it would drop back down on the slower course sections naturally. I only put in enough time to get 2 full races in (which each had about 15-20 failed attempts, most all ending before Mulsanne lol). I just don’t think it’s possible at my upgrade level and my skill level. I have even seen many people with many more upgrades than me not be able to do it. So, I made the decision to skip the level for 40GC. Not a common decision for me, but at this point in the game, I’m not willing to give up and I know it would take far more in upgrades to be able to beat this level. So, from an economic standpoint, it was better for me to skip this level.
2 Lap Cup at Le Mans, must win the event, reach a speed of 274 mph 4 times and also not go off-track – After skipping 8.5, I gave this race a few attempts, but not too many as I was starting to run out of time for the event. I was able to hit 274 mph on the first straight (with brake assist off and slamming into the wall at the end). But, with the other bots, I couldn’t maintain a lead by this method. So, rather than bang my head against the way with a challenge I likely couldn’t win at my upgrade level, I decided to go ahead and skip this level as well. Event complete, car is in my garage.

Post Event Breakdown – I went into this fully expecting to have to spend GC. Additionally, I looked at what I spent for the CSL Hommage in the Generations event and figured that this car, being close to twice the price of the Hommage, might cost us twice the GC in upgrades to complete the event. I had stockpiled some GC before the event (I planned to have 600, but I was a bit short initially, but earned more during the event), so I was prepared (and somewhat willing) to purchase upgrades since I knew we’d need them based on recent history.
I’m still quite frustrated by the way FM is managing these events currently, but since I know their strategy now, I can at least plan ahead and not be caught off-guard (as I was for Generations). My plan moving forward is going to be to have a constant stockpile of GC ready for Special Events. Not my favorite thing, but I’d still prefer to obtain these cars in the Special Events than to pay more buying them in career (even with a showcase discount). My total outlay for this car (in GC), was 325GC for upgrades and 80GC for skipping 8.5 and 8.6 (for 405GC total). So, the way I look at it, I spent 80GC for this car (-10 if I take into account the 90GC in completion bonuses during the event). The 325GC I spent on upgrades I don’t consider as part of the purchase price since if I did buy the car in career, I’d have to buy the upgrades as well, but now I already have them and the car too. Showcase purchase plus the upgrades I have now would be significantly more expensive (760 + 325 = 1085GC). I paid full price for the upgrades, but the car was essentially thrown in at the end. This is why I’m counting the 80GC in skips toward the car, since that GC didn’t go towards upgrades. I know this is not how a lot of people are looking at it, but that’s my view.
Here are a few screenshots of the event completion page as well as a shot of the car in my garage showing the upgrades I have.
RR3'tyoloo Report:
Finally it's done !! PR 91.0 20/26 Tilt A
Eng - 4/6, DT - 2/4, B - 4/4, S - 2/3, E - 2/3, B - 3/3, T&W - 3/3
Started Day 8 with PR 90.0, decided to give it a shot even though recommended PR is much higher.
- 8.1 - I had to keep nudging Norm in the straights as he keeps tailgating the bots. Even in the corners, i had to push him to overtake some cars. Eventually, he finished 4th and i 5th. Quite an easy goal. Won in 1 attempt.
- 8.2 - Also an easy goal. Norm was using the P1GTR and i was sure i could overtake him easily so did not proceed with upgrades. Braking and Re-Overtaking him is best done during the corners as he is slow.
- 8.3 - Similar to 8.1, just keep pushing Norm on the straights and corners. Had to retry a few times because i accidentally pitted him impatiently. Norm is such a gentle driver but sometimes he will overtake the bots without nudging. After getting him into 1st place, staying behind him within 457m is relatively easy as he wasn't fast.
- 8.4 - Speed snap. Easiest of the goals, won in 1 attempt. PR still at 90.0.
- 8.5 - This goal is giving us the most struggles based on the comments here. Decided to give it a go. PR 90.0. Retried a dozen times as i kept going off track. First successful attempt, average speed 270 kph, wasn't even close.
Then i decided to change to low brakes, previous high steering and TC on unchanged. Car felt much faster and still could only manage max 273kph. Was getting frustrated at this point but kept trying nonetheless.
Successful attempt - try to overtake all the cars after the first chicane or at least 2nd as they slow you down. Be sure to minimize contact with the bots as damaged front causes you to lose top speed. By the first 90 degree turn after the long straights on the first lap, i was about to reach 277kph. First lap done in 3min flat, not too bad. On the 2nd lap, i had to push harder to maintain the ave speed. At the last chicane, i was at average 277kph. It was really close and i finished exactly at 275kph. Took me 1 hr to complete.
- 8.6 - Reaching 440kph 4 times.
Still at PR90.0. Initially, i thought i had to complete 1 440kph at the Mulsanne straight and another one after the first 90 degree corner. Reaching 440kph on the first straight was easy but the second one was impossible. I was still using low brakes and the max i could get to is 438kph, even tried changing to brakes off but could brake in time and went off track. Tried maybe 20 times and still failed. Looks like i definitely need an upgrade. Did the 100gc 3rd engine followed by the R$ upgrade. PR now at 91.0, cars seems faster but still could not reach 440kph at the second straight. Noticed that slower bots appear after upgrade, HoodooVoodoo and Stayfrosty. Previously at 90.0, its was darknezz and Miceorman. Time for a Strategy change!!
Successful attempt - Still on high steering, low brakes and TC on. Get a good exit on the Mulsanne corner and blast down the Mulsanne straight. Once you reach 440kph, brakes slightly and reach 440kph again. Brake too little it will not be counted, brake too late you wont reach 440kph in time before the corner.
After 4 440kph logged, i drove very cautiously as not to go off track. Finished in 6:08, wasn't fast but i had a good distance from the first bot. This took me 1.5 hrs to complete.
Overall 500gc upgrades - 90gc earned = 410gc spent. More upgrades to be done upon starting Breackneck Legend and Hypercar Charge.
Lots of Lemans racing done today, getting Leman-phobia plus all the farming.
Good luck guys!! Hope this helps :)
HardikVegeta Report:
Here my report of stage 8:
Before stage 8 started i completed stage 7 with 87.7 PR 14 upgrades.
My Assists : Low Break, Low Steering, TC on, Sensitivity 5, Tilt A.
- 8.1 : My car's PR was 87.7 so raced with that easy not hard. did it in second attempt. Norm was 4th and i was 5th.
- 8.2 : Very easy did it in 1st attempt. I mostly overtook norm on straights. Still 87.7 PR 14 upgrades.
- 8.3 : Hard but not impossible. I did it in 4th attempt and still with same 87.7 PR 14 upgrades.
- 8.4 : Very easy because i upgraded Engine and Body parts so no problem at all. Still same PR 87.7 14 upgrades.
- 8.5 : Hard but it's doable with very good PR. I upgraded my car upto 93.3 PR 24 upgrades and did it in 2nd attempt. In 1st attempt i gone off track. So Now PR is 93.3 24 upgrades.
- 8.6 : Easy with very good PR. I did it in 1st attempt. So Finally 93.3 PR 24 upgrades.
So i got car with 93.3 PR so i can complete some series to 100% like Hypercar Charge and Breakneck Legends so i will get 60 golds from that plus 90 golds already got from this event. So total 150 golds i earned and invested 765 golds. So 615 golds exact minus 15 golds from ads. So 600 golds but i will get back all this golds from WTTT because i am regular player in group B in WTTT.
Conclusion : Simple For those players who don't wanna upgrade this car more or don't have enough golds so it's better to SKIP last two goals and get car because it's costly.

Footnotes[]
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 The way FM display the date isn't very clear, they use a rounding factor. The days and hours remaining, to start, is changing at mid day or on the half hour. The closing date and time displayed is a cautious closing date and time.
The best time to start is late in the day local time, as the next stage opens at midnight local time.
If the event is started 11PM 07-May (local time), the event can be completed 8x24 hours later, 11PM 15-May, allowing almost two full days to complete stage 8.
