Sales Format

All discounts and special offers available in Real Racing 3 are available as separate, one-time opportunities. Different offers cannot be combined to increase the discount rate; e.g., if a player triggers a Showcase Discount (20% off) during a regular sale for the same car (30% off), only the higher discount value will be applicable.

===Weekly (Regular/Default) Sales===mar Since the introduction of sales in Real Racing 3, they have generally lasted a full week, meaning that a car would go on sale the first day of the week. Early on, the sales begun Monday and lasted until midnight next Sunday; more recently, sales have triggered at midnight UTC on Monday, lasting until midnight next Monday, same as Weekly Time Trials. There have been occasions where a sale lasted more or less than full 7 days, but these are comparatively rare.

Since Formula 1® & Ferrari SF90 Stradale Update (v10.7) the sales pattern has been generally one sale for a car in the respective week's current Weekly Time Trial lineup that lasts seven days (starting Tuesday 0:00 UTC and ending Monday 23:59 UTC), and one sale for a car in that week's Online Multiplayer lineup that lasts six days (starting Tuesday 0:00 UTC and ending Sunday 23:59 UTC).

Flash Sales

Occasionally, players receive special offers for cars that last less than a week. During the Christmas period in 2015, sales were introduced which only lasted a few hours, what is commonly known as 'flash sales'. These sales are valid for a specified time that begins from the moment the sale is registered on the racer's account, which can occur when the game is started. Thus, if a 24-hour 'flash sale' becomes available at 1:00 UTC on a given day, but the player only opens the game at 10:00 UTC, the sale will remain available until 10:00 UTC on the following day.

Limited Time Sales

Limited Time Sales are sales that are longer than flash sales but do not last a week. They usually (but not always) appear around holidays, particularly those observed in the US (Christmas, New Year, Independence Day, Labor Day), as well as Real Racing 3's respective anniversaries of being released in late February.

Since the current format was first observed in NASCAR & Formula 1® 2022 Update (v10.8), around 10 Limited Time Sales have existed on Halloween, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, New Year's, RR3's 10th Anniversary, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.
