The McLaren MP4-X is a concept car produced by the McLaren Formula 1® team. It is supposed to represent a Formula 1® car from the future.

Availability

The McLAREN MP4-X is available 2 series:

• Cutting Edge bonus series in the Legend group
• McLaren MP4-X (Exclusive Series) in the Exclusive Series group.

This vehicle was added in the McLaren Overflow Update (v4.7) released in November 2016 and is unlocked as soon as Cutting Edge is unlocked (by completing 31 events in Campionato Scuderia Ferrari) or by completing the Formula Future special event. Fully-upgrading this car, once owned, will unlock McLaren MP4-X (Exclusive Series).

This vehicle can be acquired for 1,200 . It has also been available for 600 as a 'Get it Now' price, unlocking Cutting Edge.

This vehicle was available to win in the following special events:

• Formula Future available in the McLaren Overflow Update (v4.7) released in November 2016.
• McLaren MP4-X Championship available in the Circuit of the Americas Update (v7.0) released in November 2018. This was available in Event Archives from Porsche Update (v7.4.5) until archives were removed in Formula E Update (v9.5) on July 24th, 2021.
• McLaren MP4-X Limited Series available in the Ferrari Daytona SP3 Update (v11.0) released December 2022.
• Formula Future (v13.2) available in the Zenvo Aurora Update (v13.2) released in February 2025.

• With 1.60 seconds acceleration fully upgraded, the MP4-X was the fastest accelerating car in Real Racing 3 from McLaren Overflow Update (v4.7) onwards. It held the record until the release of the RIMAC NEVERA in Rimac Nevera Update (v12.3), beating the MP4-X by 0.1 seconds.
