- The 2021 F1® season would mark the final in-game appearance of Valtteri Bottas as one of the drivers for the MERCEDES F1® team. Starting with the 2022 season, Bottas would go on to race for ALFA ROMEO, filling in for the retiring Kimi Räikkönen. His spot would later be taken over by George Russell, who was transferred from WILLIAMS.
