The MERCEDES-AMG GT R F1® SAFETY CAR is the safety car in in the 2019 and 2020 seasons of Formula 1®. It replaced the MERCEDES-AMG GT S. It was driven by Bernd Mayländer.

The MERCEDES-AMG GT R F1® SAFETY CAR would later be succeeded by the ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE F1® SAFETY CAR for the 2021 season.

This vehicle was added in the Formula 1 Update (v8.0) released in November 2019 and can be unlocked, earned and fully-upgraded once completing all five Formula 1® Grand Prix™ 2019 Season Events, and is shipped instantly.
