Powerful acceleration. Block Ahmed(drives Huayra) hoping it'll help slow bots down for latter goals. Did a 1:27:642 vs 1:28:318.

1.2

26:061 vs 27:721 Schneider. Drove as fast as possible to get a feel for the car. Didn't brake on time to bot slow.

1.3

3:11:123 vs 3:12:088 Junior. Blocked him for about 30seconds and then went flat out. Waited at the last turn hoping it'll help bot slow.

Pretty good so far. Although I find the brakes are lighter than what I would like, a bit out of balance with the rest of the specs. Fun car to drive. I look forward to high speed cornering. It handled the Mazda track very well, even with no upgrades.

Day 1 what was very tame, not much to report. I guess I showed how to pit a car without skidding.

3.1 Got time to spare on this one for donuts. I like donuts!

3.2 Ooops, almost forgot that I had to get 12 overtakes. Slammed on the brakes and stacked up the pack a bit to make the next batch of overtakes easier. You don't want to let those Zonda R's get too far ahead of you!

3.3 Lots of time to play around on this one and dragged out the race a little bit. Funny how the bots drive really slow when you stop in their preferred raceline!

3.4 Only go as fast as you need to.

4.1 I kept it all on track and I had time to spare. You could cut the first corner if you're running low on time. Check out stage 4. 3 to see the cut that I'm talking about.

4.2 Close on speed and time but not too bad.

4.3 It sounds hard... but it's not! The McLaren slows down a lot in the corners. It's also not hard to hit the speed requirement. I had time for donuts.

4.4 Reaching speed is easy. Doing it in the time frame is not. I thought about adding upgrades now but then tried it a few more times. I seriously doubt I'll get much further without spending gold.

5.1 I let him get a lead as I knew I could get a nice run after the 1st big corner.

5.2 Done backwards here before. Backwards and no off-track took me a bit to dial in.

5.3 The only challenging part about this stage is not having a humongous lead. A huge lead will increase bot difficulty and target difficulty further on. So I backed up for a while to build my average speed and give the Zonda R a nice Head start. It worked out pretty good.

5.4 Backing up gives you room to make the speed run. Take it right to the wall, try not to bounce off-track. I just love how glass goes exploding off in a crash like at the end of this stage!

6.1 My first time trying this track in this car. You can take Eau Rouge section flat out... barely! Off-track is allowed for this event but I wanted to test the braking point a bit. Oh yeah, it's obvious off track is allowed because I blew it on one corner.

6.2 Tight with upgrades but I got there.

6.3 First off, pitting a car without taking damage. Just before you turn the other car lift off the gas then GENTLY get into the rear quarter panel. It only works with Tilt B for me. I tried this stage for a while with just R$ upgrades, but I couldn't find speed driving normally. Driving backwards there's two places you can easily hit speed on this track. However that would involve trapping the Regera somewhere which I couldn't do with the no damage requirement. The other downside of that is increasing the bot difficulty for later stages. I'm pretty confident I'll end up needing more upgrades before winning this car so, I didn't mind spending 45 gold!

6.4 You need to take advantage of the areas that you can push this car. I was substantially over braking the chicane near the end of a lap and still made it in time. I hate plowing into that wall after a decent lap and I knew I had time to spare.

7.1 I decided to use the old backup trick just because I didn't want to sweat it. Then I got bored and decided to cross the line backwards and almost lost by going off track... Oops!

7.2 This was my first time trying this stage, got a decent guess at the starting point. Actually went a bit too fast.

7.3 This one really threw me for a loop for a bit. The vehicle pulled hard left from the start. I quit the event and tried it again... same thing. I force closed the game, reopened it tried again, same thing. I thought my gyroscope was off and then I reread the stage description. It says "your vehicle will be worse for wear"... So there you go. I just had a hold my device a little more to the right than normal.

7.4 I provided an audio tutorial for this one.

Thankyou ME7 for finding this shortcut.

A funny day in Monza.
ME7 is probably still sleeping. Try to explain something.
8.1: Head to Head with the Grandpa.
- 354Kph is the goal. I have to add an upgrade.
without only 348 was possible.
8.2 Head to Head with Eric. 1000meter lead. 2 rounds.
- 1 round would have been enough.
- Humiliation for Eric. Did he start over 2 laps.
8.3 Head to Head 2 laps.
- Average speed 258 Kph
- If you know Monza, it should not be a problem. They are very fast corners.
8.4 Head to Head 3 laps
- time 3:57:00 do not drive offtrack
- Is already heavier. I have used 3 attempts, that you can cut off the corners quickly when off-track.
- 3:57 start / rest after 1 lap 2:34 / then 2 laps under 1:17.

I wish you all the best,

8.1 I needed to add some Exhaust upgrades (up to 3) to pass this one. I worked out a start point on the back straight to hit my speed run. I had trouble doing it without coming to a stop. That meant pitting the Bugatti so I could get myself somewhat setup. I got some tailgating time in before. then I just had a fight with the Bugatti to get the rest. Sending that Bugatti flying on the last corner was absurdly fun!

Motorfiesta_2;_Stage_8.2;_1131311

Motorfiesta 2; Stage 8.2; 1131311

8.2 Pretty easy with upgrades 1131311. I decided to stay on track & work on my braking points for the future stages... I've got some work to do yet!

Motorfiesta_2;_Stage_8.3;_1131311

Motorfiesta 2; Stage 8.3; 1131311

8.3 It's not easy to get all you can get out of this track. The corners are very wide so you CAN get a lot of speed out of them... however you risk going off track when you do. you don't want to get back in the gas too early and then have to nail the brakes to stop from going off track. Might as well quit and retry the race right there. I noticed you can't afford much sliding around at all here! I found my sweet spot was to brake perhaps a hair early, roll the corner a bit and then feather the throttle until I can go full.

I'm late today. Stage 8.3 was getting me frustrated so I slept on it. Today was better. Stage 8.4 is very hard for me at 1131311. You basically need 3 back to back Group A Weekly Time Trial quality laps. Real life is going to limit my day. I may not pass 8.4 until after day 9 opens. One advantage is that I can skip ahead and see if any stages need higher upgrades. Then restore back and do 8.4 without fighting so much. However I also want to become a better racer... so I'll keep trying at these upgrades. I'll add 8.4 here whenever I get it done.

Motorfiesta_2;_Stage_8.4;_1331311

Motorfiesta 2; Stage 8.4; 1331311

8.4 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! MAN this was a hard stage. I came close a couple times with upgrades 1131311 but there's just no room for mistakes that way. I know you could skid 3 times, but if you skid once with those upgrades you don't make it. You also have to ride the razor edge between skidding and going off-track because if you brake too early or over brake you will not make time. So I added some upgrades and got it done! my one additional upgrade was cheaper than skipping so I'm happy with that decision. Here are some key notes; you need to muscle the Regera over when you have lower upgrades. If you make contact with the Regera's front wheel using about your side door, you can actually shove it over without losing speed or risking being pitted. then you need to really nail your line for the whole loooooong race.

👍👍 2 thumbs up to those who did 8.4 with 1131311

Day 9 Quick Tour & recommended PR

9.1 You need to set up your speed run pretty carefully on the start-finish straight. I needed a pretty much all of it. If you don't like the starting grid just quit and retry. I noticed that the setup changed each time. However there was always a Zonda R and a Regera in 1st and 2nd.

Motorfiesta_2;_Stage_9.2;_3333333

Motorfiesta 2; Stage 9.2; 3333333

9.2 I tried this stage many times last night and it was very hard at upgrades 1331311. Then I skipped ahead and tried the next stages and they were also quite hard. So I restored, bought stage 3 upgrades and went to sleep! With all 3's you still have to push this car pretty hard, but it's not as crazy as it was for me before!

Motorfiesta_2;_Stage_9.3;_3333333

Motorfiesta 2; Stage 9.3; 3333333

9.3 SMASH, SMASH, SMASH!! 25 car Elimination race with 5 second intervals in a rolling start??? You need to plan your off-track carefully and smash your way to the front. So brake very late as you head to that wall that you see me smash, stay to the right and steer hard right with your brakes on as you head into the wall. Hopefully you don't bounce off backwards! Then just take little off-track cuts to pass groups of cars. If you have several cars to your outside while you're in the corner, then use them as a bit of a wall. Don't be afraid to brake late and shove someone off track like I did! It was a fight with all 3's, but a fun one ;-)

Motorfiesta_2;_Stage_9.4;_3333333

Motorfiesta 2; Stage 9.4; 3333333

9.4 Suzuka Grand Prix circuit with not one skid allowed? STRESSFUL!! With all 3's for upgrades I was able to lay back a bit and not risk skidding. I cut the last chicane near the end of lap 1 just to show you where you could keep your speed up a little bit if you need to. So that enables you to brake late as you head into that corner. I could have braked later than I did and carried more speed but that was my first time trying it.

Motorfiesta_2;_Stage_9.5;_3333333

Motorfiesta 2; Stage 9.5; 3333333

9.5 IT'S PAYBACK TIME!! Time to show the field how much I appreciated them... by hitting everybody. It was fun, but I got caught looking in the rear view & almost blew it!

Start / End Strategy[]

The player has 9 days to complete the 9 stages, the event is 9 days x 24 hours. The first stage will start the time the player starts it, the last stage will end 9 x 24 hours later. As stage 01 is normally straightforward and can be completed without an upgrade or service, it can be started late in the day, it doesn't matter if stage 01 isn't completed the first day, it can be continued the following day. Stage 02, will automatically unlock at midnight, but can only be raced once stage 01 is complete. Stage 03 will unlock at midnight the following day, and so on up to stage 9. In total there will be 9 x 24 hours = 216 hours to complete all stages.

For example:

Start Friday @ 7:30 PM the event will end 9 days x 24 hours later, Sunday @ 7:30 PM,

You need to choose the best time for you to start Motorfiesta 2 event, or more importantly when is the best time for you to end the event!

RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race tip):
I wouldn't recommend starting the event on the first day, September 1st 2018, as many racers, who start as soon as the event opens, complain about bugs, which FM then fix! Instead, leave the start a day or two and let other people do the bug testing. Also, the tips and details can be filled in by the early adopters, so starting a day or two later gives a better heads up.

Ideally, for racers who are busy Monday to Friday and have the weekend free, the best day and time to start is as late as possible Friday, as long as it's before midnight, meaning stage 9 of the event can be completed over two days, the following Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately there may be a short time to start this event! It may be only open to start for 1 weeks, as the next event is expected Saturday September 8th. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

When is the last time I can start this Event?[]

The exact date is unknown, normally 1 - 2 weeks.

The way FM display the date isn't very clear, they use a rounding factor. The days and hours remaining, to start, is changing at midday or on the half hour. The closing date and time displayed is a cautious closing date and time. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

Will this event be added to the race career?[]

FM went through a spell of adding special events to the racing career, the last time a special event was added was September 2015 v3.6, NASCAR Academy was added directly to the NASCAR career, without previously being released as a Time Limited Event (TLE). Previous to that was April 2015 v3.3, with Redline: Origins and MotorFiesta 1. It is therefore unlikely this event will be added to the racing career.

Will the car be available to win in the future?[]

The PAGANI HUAYRA BC is available to win if the challenge is completed in ?? days, after mmm dd the PAGANI HUAYRA BC can be purchased.

With the introduction of Flashback Special Events, it may be possible to repeat this special event in the future.

Can I buy the car?[]
