Day 1 Quick Tour
1.1 Just had to get up there and mess up Magnus a bit. However best to come in 3rd place for bot management.
1.2 A lot of fun on this one! I jump, some donuts and then an epic Magnus crash at the very end... He hits me as I crossed the line and then goes head-on into the wall. Pooooooor Magnus 😭
1.3 Again, I could not pass up a chance to catch up to and mess up Magnus! I did some pretty crazy driving to get to him... but there you go. I made sure to come in 2nd in the interest of bot management.

Day 2 Quick Tour
2.1 I knew I had a lot of time to kill so I had some fun. Then I almost blew it trying to cross the line close to the time.
2.2 Easy race so I took an alternate path. You can't do this when there's no off-track, even though the road behind the wall is still on track. You have to go off-track to get through it.
2.3 Bot slowing work for me here! in fact, all I had to do was quit and we try to get the distance from 198m down to 61m. Then I had to leave the race go back in and it was down to 51 m. It worked because I was at minimum PR requirements.

Day 3 Quick Tour
3.1 Pretty simple stage. You only have to finish 2nd so, finish 2nd. However there's nothing saying you can't have fun wrecking bots which also helps with bot management.
3.2 Very simple.
3.3 Still a pretty simple one. Lots of time to have some fun with bots!
3.4 This one has the potential to be hard but it's really not that bad. First off, you don't need to get past everyone very quickly because this is a long race. The most important thing is don't take on any damage until after you've met the speed requirement. So if your windshield is cracked just start over because you're not going to be able to hit speed. As you can see in this video there are two places you can hit speed. So over 4 laps you've got 8 chances. Then I let bots catch up so I could pit them and hopefully keep the targets lower in coming days.

4.1 This is an easy one. Lots of time to slow down Bots and play around if you want to.
4.2 You could finish in last place if you want to. That's why I turned around and ran some of the lap backwards first. If you're having trouble meeting speed, you could actually run several laps backwards, you just have to watch out for accidents and off-track. Parts of the drag strip section between the last and 2nd-last corner are not off-track. Taking that section wide allows you to reach a higher top speed on the straight and increase your average speed overall.
4.3 This one was easy, so I gave you a donut.
4.4 This one can be a bit tricky. There's enough room to make a good speed run, but the bots are kind of in the way. On my first speed run I did not want to hit bots, but I needed to hit speed. I cracked my windshield which made me a bit slower for the rest of the race. However I came up with an instant idea and kept going. I let the 2nd place bot over take and then controlled the 3rd-place bot. I timed my second speed run so that I could use the 1st place bot to help me brake before throwing the car sideways to stay off-track. It worked good!
Stage 4 1-2-3 done with 0 upgrades.
Stage 4.4 done with 1100011 Upgrades.
I think its possible with 0 Upgrades, but we need later the R$ upgrades.

Surprisingly easy day 5.
5.1 At first I was intimidated by this stage with all the fast cars. However they seem to be set low and they brake a lot in the corners. Brake checking a Bugatti is fun.
5.2 A decent amount of time to get this one done.
5.3 Lots of track to get this speed snap done.
5.4 This one's actually very easy, too easy! The race ends as soon as you lap a car. You can do that by the 4th lap. I got worried about future bot management so I did a restore and dragged out the race. I won't put you through that much boredom, so I sped up the race considerably 😎

6.2 This is a hard race so I provided an audio tutorial. If you're familiar with cutting here you'll know what to do. Even with cuts I had to push it pretty hard with tier one upgrades.
6.3 This one was challenging for me, because it involves one of the hardest corners in the game for me. That lovely "S" section is hard for me to maximize. However I did it well here.

Heads Up, 7.4 is going to be a hard one. One lap at Lemans in a head-to-head with no off track. Must hit 237 mph or 381.5 kph twice AND you must win. Not tooooooooo hard to hit speed on the first long section but very hard to do it a second time. I haven't figured out how to do it yet. I just did a few test runs as I was getting these pictures for you guys. I need to go back, complete the other stages and then face this one.
7.1 You don't need to cut, but it gave me more chances to wreck bots... & then have to play major catch up after a silly mistake.
7.2 You could cut and coast a bit to limit your lead like I did, or not cut and drive it harder. Either way, an easier stage.
7.3 Easy stage, did it partially unserviced. I sped this one up because it can take a while.
7.4 I added some upgrades for this one. This is probably possible with just one stage 3 upgrade, but it's early. I'm expecting this event to get a lot harder yet. I carefully took out Magnus at the start so I had enough time to hit speed twice and hit the wall. To take him out carefully you have to lift off the gas right as you're turning him so that you don't take on any damage. I switched to mph because it's much easier to see 237 on the nose then it is to see 381.5 kph. I needed to hit the brakes the second I saw 237 so I had enough time to get up to speed a second time. Good luck, happy racing!
Stage 7.2 + 7.4 are the only races with any difficulty at all.
I think 7.4 possible with R$ upgrades. But i can not do after 2 hrs.
R$ test is in the Video 7.4

8.1 This one's a little challenging until you learn to take advantage of the track. No assists is a must to get the most out of this track. Steering assist and brake assist will really hurt your race lines here. I also provided an audio tutorial to help with this stage.
8.2 This is one of the easiest speed snaps in the game. Just don't cross the line going too fast, LOL.
8.3 You really have to race good & hard until that chicane halfway through a lap. That's when you can make a big gain. I particularly found it hard on the two hairpin turns. I have to keep reminding myself to brake earlier in this car then I'm normally used to. However when you get back into the gas early, it handles it very well!
8.4 I spent a lot of time on this one. I decided to provide an audio tutorial for you here as well. Again, no assists is a must here because it's not just brakes that hurt you but steering assist hurts you too. Specifically the chicane and the bus stop. Steering assist just won't allow you to maximize that, at least in my experience.

Stage 9 was quite ironic for me. The movie "Rush", featuring the horrible crash of Niki Lauda at Nurburgring, was on as I was doing these stages at Nurburgring!
9.1 A hard stage without using some tricks. I provided an audio tutorial to help.
9.2 Took me about 8 tries to maximize this cars ability here.
9.3 EDIT: It would appear some other guys figured out some tricks. If you keep retrying apparently Magnus gets easier. You still need some more upgrades than day 8. Then it's just a matter of figuring out how ridiculously bad Magnus drives so you don't smash him to pieces. He brakes too early! That can leave you fighting to catch up as he drives off. I started braking a little bit earlier so I could get back to the gas before he did and not lose him.
9.4 No tricks here, just have to drive it hard and clean. there are a couple of areas that seem to be off track but they're not, so watch for those.
9.5 You can actually take it easy on this stage. I had to retry this several times just because I was pushing it way too hard on lap 1. I realized that as I put more laps on and relaxed. It's actually not hard with the upgrades you need for stage 9.3. However if you skipped 9.3 then I don't know how hard this will be for you.
9.3 test again and again. Magnus slower and slower
Upgrades 300 Gold 100 cashback = 200 Gold.

The second one I did no problem maybe a little bit too fast actually, but couldn’t break due to the average speed. used 2 bar of damage.
- 9.3 2nd 3:07.615 (best 1:32.283) v 3:07.393 (1:32.320) Magnus, 2 lap cup of Nurburgring tailgating Magnus within 36 yards for the 2 laps, The start was a little bit of a worry as Magnus pulled away down the start-finish straight but once he braked into turn one I sat on his bumper for the remaining two laps, he actually breaks quite early and doesn't carry my speech down the straights, so this was relatively easy, if anything, had to assist the brakes to stop going past him, used 9 bar of damage, 5 red remaining.
- 9.4 Speed record around Nurburgring win within 1 minute 32.8 without going off track,
- My first attempt failed with a partially damaged car so serviced,
- 2nd 323.25 v 324.60 Magnus. The second attempt a field by 1 kph, I’ll turn BA off for the back straight, retry.
- 1st 325.25 v 324.60 Magnus, finished with 0.2s on the clock! I turn the brake assist off on the back straight and as soon as I pass Magnus is speed I braked and easily made the chicane, used 10 bar of damage in total.
- 9.5 4 lap cup of Nurburgring Within 5:54.5, without skidding or going off-track or damaging your car
- Red flag for going off track
- I skidded coming out of the final corner onto the start straight for the final lap, restored.
- 1st 5:50.128 (best 1:25.914) v 6:14.299 (1:32.148) Magnes, The only problem I had was trying not to skid I beat the 5:54.5 by 4 seconds Magnes was nowhere with tilt A there were 4 turns the needed to have assisted braking the rest of the lap was just steering, making sure that I kept on track, used all bar of damage, serviced

Start / End Strategy[]
The player has 9 days to complete the 9 stages, the event is 9 days x 24 hours. The first stage will start the time the player starts it, the last stage will end 9 x 24 hours later. As stage 01 is normally straightforward and can be completed without an upgrade or service, it can be started late in the day, it doesn't matter if stage 01 isn't completed the first day, it can be continued the following day. Stage 02, will automatically unlock at midnight, but can only be raced once stage 01 is complete. Stage 03 will unlock at midnight the following day, and so on up to stage 9. In total there will be 9 x 24 hours = ?? hours to complete all stages.
For example:
Start Friday @ 7:30 PM the event will end 9 days x 24 hours later, Sunday @ 7:30 PM,

You need to choose the best time for you to start King of the Ring event, or more importantly when is the best time for you to end the event!
RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race tip):
I wouldn't recommend starting the event on the first day, October 20th 2018, as many racers, who start as soon as the event opens, complain about bugs, which FM then fix! Instead, leave the start a day or two and let other people do the bug testing. Also, the tips and details can be filled in by the early adopters, so starting a day or two later gives a better heads up.
Ideally, for racers who are busy Monday to Friday and have the weekend free, the best day and time to start is as late as possible Friday, as long as it's before midnight, meaning stage 9 of the event can be completed over two days, the following Saturday and Sunday. There may be a short time to start this event! It may be only open for 6 days, as the next event is expected Oct 27th. Keep an eye thout for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

When is the last time I can start this Event?[]
the release notes state October 25th
The way FM display the date isn't very clear, they use a rounding factor. The days and hours remaining, to start, is changing at midday or on the half hour. The closing date and time displayed is a cautious closing date and time. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.
Will this event be added to the race career?[]
FM went through a spell of adding special events to the racing career, the last time a special event was added was September 2015 v3.6, NASCAR Academy was added directly to the NASCAR career, without previously being released as a Time Limited Event (TLE). Previous to that was April 2015 v3.3, with Redline: Origins and MotorFiesta 1. It is therefore unlikely this event will be added to the racing career.
Will the car be available to win in the future?[]

What is the minimum PR / upgrades required?[]
! | This section needs updating once the upgrade requirements are known | ! |
RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race):
Since Generations, if the players car is far below the recommended PR level the bots run impossible times. Once the car is upgraded the bots return to normal times. Slowing the bots works, only when the PR requirements are close. Some goals have fixed top bots. Possible upgrade strategies:
