Description

Inheritance was an event in Real Racing 3. It gave the players a chance to win the FERRARI 812 SUPERFAST. After version Ferrari Update (v6.2) was updated. Inheritance started April 15th 2018.

The event comprises a wide range of cars, especially the FERRARI 812 SUPERFAST.

1.1 These guys are so slooooow in the corners. Make sure to only finish 3rd. I drag out the race to keep to try to keep targets lower and bots slower.

2.1 Pretty simple. Got to win by a set margin, try to make it as small as possible.

2.2 I had to spend a bit of time on this but nothing too crazy. Just had to figure out the breaking points. Currently this car is pretty decent, even with no upgrades.

You are not required to win, so long as you reach the top speed 4 times, you can finish third and pass.
This is a good opportunity to bot slow. Allow the two bots to lap you before you finish the race.

3.1 I decided it was time for some upgrades. I had to watch a bunch of ads to get these ones to apply, the others haven't applied yet. bot slowing will not work for me, it's driving me crazy!

3.2 The wall ride in the 180° corner helps me to keep my speed up. I didn't want to win by a big margin so I let 2nd place catch up.

3.3 Nice glitch! I clearly finished in second place yet it made me finish first.

3.4 Weird, you don't have to win this race! So I decided to lose by a big margin by letting them lap me. Hopefully this will keep my targets lower because bot slowing won't work for me. I finished the day with 1100100 for upgrades. The rest of stage 1 upgrades will be applied for day 4.

4.1) With no Upgrades easy.

4.2) That was a tough race. With 0 upgrades, I was 2:14.060 fast. So I need an upgrade for the tires.
Tip: brake early to get out of the corners faster.
At the start, it's worth driving to the side of the track. Round 2 and 3 should be clean on the track.

4.3) No problem with 0000001

4.4) Here we have a toll booth!
You have to invest.
Bots do not slow down.
But what helps if you are in the race and installed upgrades. I tried to show it in the video.
But all had to do R $ and 1 gold upgrade.

4.1 My distance to beat seemed quite high, but it really wasn't. It was very easy to get this done with the upgrades I had.

4.2 Based on the description of the race I thought this was going to be easy... not at all!! Finishing at least second made me think that first place was going to be really motoring it. He was slow! I had to run this race quite a few times to figure out braking points, especially with this cars nasty brakes.

4.3 Kinda fun, I had to make it interesting.

4.4 I made this into a tutorial video. It shows you how bot slowing and simplifying targets now works in Special Events.

Finished Stage 4 with R$ upgrades. My target for 4.4 was only 267.07 kph (Speed Junkie had 271 kph). I think the bot-slowing is paying off...

5.1 I opted for the outside lane to get a cleaner line. REMEMBER... the bots will take the first 4 corners here VERY badly on lap 1. You must make the most of it! Every other lap they drive smarter. This is where no assists really helps so that you aren't made to run the stupid line they do!

5.2 If you don't like your time, quit, exit and re-enter. It's not bot slowing, it's getting a driver with a worse car. My times varied from 38.125 to 39.445!! I couldn't get the 39.445 back so I settled for the time you see here.

5.3 Hitting the speed was easy, finishing in time... not so much.

5.4 This was fun, work on your blocking skills! I still can't believe how horrible bots take the first 4 corners, especially the 4th corner. Such a wide turn... just weird. Slow Ahmed down as much as you can. He got away from me for a bit, but I think I did fine.

For 5.2 and 5.3, you can keep re-entering the race and quitting until you get a slightly easier goal. I edited out the retry sequence in my 5.2 video, but kept it in my 5.3 video.

6.1 I tried doing some bot slowing but it wouldn't work. Just take it easy because this isn't a hard stage. Only finish a few inches further than you have to!

6.2 You got to push it pretty hard here. I was sloppy on the last corner and it almost cost me the race. I only had 0.1 kph over the average speed requirement at the line!

6.3 This is a really easy stage. I don't understand why it came after the other two, oh well. I stacked up the bots a bit to make the race take longer and hopefully keep things easier. I pushed it too far at the finish line and again, I almost lost the race!

6.4 Got it on my first try! I felt I was going into the corner a bit too fast, so a quick tap of the brakes did the trick.

7.1 Don't like your time? Just quit, leave the event and re-enter it. They appear randomly because there's different types of Ferraris in this event. So if your driver gets a GTO he's going to be faster than a Testarossa but obviously slower than FXX K. I didn't mean to win, I meant to place 3rd. Hard to do or you just dealing with tenths of a second.

7.2 I Guess I should have left the FXX K alone. Although it felt pretty good to beat him! Anyhow... all the good Spa shortcuts are here. I needed all of them to finish in time. You have to run Tilt B and no assists to make them work. This car is slippery, I had to brake earlier than I'm used to.

7.3 Hmmmm... is this supposed to be hard?? I slowed at the finish line for a little bit and thought maybe I missed something so I crossed it. Where was everybody?? Anyhow, all the shortcuts you need are in this one. You have to run Tilt B and no assists to make them work.

7.4 Well this one sure got frustrating! I managed to hit the speed in one spot @ 1131313 but I had to get everything perfect and it was hard to do it twice. After 2 hours I had had enough and I'm trying not to spend my whole life on this game ;-) I should have bought more speed-related upgrades the other day, but I was just trying to keep costs low. I really thought the grip upgrades would help with the slippery car.

8.1 Gotta have some fun in a boring endurance event. So drifting around some Ferrari F14 Indy was it!

8.2 It never said win! I tried turning around right at the start and running a full lap in reverse before turning around and going forwards, but that was still quite hard. Driving to the end of the first straightaway and doing that quick turn-around, then doing the same thing backwards gave me more than enough. Have some fun with it!

8.3 WOW is this one ever hard!! At the start of the race keep to the right so the F-14 is on your left hand side. Just when you brake the F-14 will start to turn left to pass you. That's when you steer left to get a wide turn into corner one and block him so he doesn't pass you or hit you in the first turn. Then take the wider path around the track whenever you can so that you have more distance to build average speed. That wallbounce I do is on purpose and gives me an extra 2 kph average speed. It was incredibly hard for me to get it right!

8.4 I managed to get this one of my first try. Not bad at these upgrades. My lap was pretty sloppy.

8.5 Like on most tracks, the bots take the first couple of corners badly on lap one. That's the best time to pass the FXX K. Then you just have to block and watch your driving. All stages done with Tilt B, no assists and sensitivity 3.

Start / End Strategy

The player has 8 days to complete the 8 stages, the event is 8 days x 24 hours. The first stage will start the time the player starts it, the last stage will end 8 x 24 hours later. As stage 01 is normally straightforward and can be completed without an upgrade or service, it can be started late in the day, it doesn't matter if stage 01 isn't completed the first day, it can be continued the following day. Stage 02, will automatically unlock at midnight, but can only be raced once stage 01 is complete. Stage 03 will unlock at midnight the following day, and so on up to stage 8. In total there will be 8 x 24 hours = 192 hours to complete all stages.

You need to choose the best time for you to start Inheritance event, or more importantly when is the best time for you to end the event!

I wouldn't recommend starting the event on the first day, April 15th, as many racers, who start as soon as the event opens, complain about bugs, which FM then fix! Instead, leave the start a day or two and let other people do the bug testing. Also, the tips and details can be filled in by the early adopters, so starting a day or two later gives a better heads up.

Ideally, for racers who are busy Monday to Friday and have the weekend free, the best day and time to start is as late as possible Saterday, as long as it's before midnight, meaning stage 8 of the event can be completed over two days, the following Saturday and Sunday. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

When is the last time I can start this Event?

The exact date is unknown, normally 1 - 2 weeks.

The way FM display the date isn't very clear, they use a rounding factor. The days and hours remaining, to start, is changing at midday or on the half hour. The closing date and time displayed is a cautious closing date and time. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

Will this event be added to the race career?

FM went through a spell of adding special events to the racing career, the last time a special event was added was September 2015 v3.6, NASCAR Academy was added directly to the NASCAR career, without previously being released as a Time Limited Event (TLE). Previous to that was April 2015 v3.3, with Redline: Origins and MotorFiesta 1. It is therefore unlikely this event will be added to the racing career.

Will the car be available to win in the future?

The FERRARI 812 SUPERFAST is available to win if the challenge is completed in 8 days, after mmm dd the FERRARI 812 SUPERFAST can be purchased.

With the introduction of Flashback Special Events, it may be possible to repeat this special event in the future.

Can I buy the car?

The FERRARI 812 SUPERFAST is available in one series:

• Superfast Supercars bonus series in the Elite group

This vehicle was added in the Ferrari Update (v6.2) released in March 2018 and can be unlocked by earning 26 trophies in Superfast Supercars.

This vehicle can be acquired for 600 or 480 with showcase discount. It can sometimes be bought for ?? as a 'Get it Now' price, unlocking Superfast Supercars.

Since Generations, if the players car is far below the recommended PR level the bots run impossible times. Once the car is upgraded the bots return to normal times. Slowing the bots works, only when the PR requirements are close. Some goals have fixed top bots. Possible upgrade strategies:
