— Natalia, Agent

Formula 1® Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix™ 2020 is the eighth challenge of nine Grand Prix™ Special Events in Real Racing 3. It gives the players a chance to win a 2020 Season Formula 1® car of their choice. The player can participate in this event with any car, already owned or not. Ability to take the same car into multiple Special Events is noted as the main purpose of renewed Motorsports. There is no restriction on participation in several Grand Prix simultaneously.

Formula 1® Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix™ 2020 is part of the Formula 1® and McLaren 765LT Update (v9.1), and starts at the earliest on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

The seven Stages of this Special Event are a typical Formula 1® racing weekend (except for the fantasy "promotional race" included in this particular Event) for the player to go through, driving their chosen car on Marina Bay Street Circuit: Free Practice (Stages 1, 2 & 4), "Promotional Race" (Stage 3), Qualification (Stage 5) and Race (Stages 6 & 7). Each following Stage unlocks at midnight local time, one Stage per day.

Here we are, champ, the Marina Bay Street Circuit! You know, this circuit holds a couple of interesting records.

It's got more turns than any other current Formula 1® circuit, and it's also the longest race on the calendar.
— Michael, Manager
Quote Eric
And, as I'm sure you've noticed, it's hot as a furnace here, and don't expect it to cool down much at night. You can understand what makes this such a challenging race.

Sector by Sector

Quote Michael
Welcome back, champ. The city looks beautiful at night doesn't it? And it also makes for a very different driving experience. We're going to use FP2 to get accustomed to driving this circuit at night, since that's when the race takes place.
— Michael, Manager
Quote Eric
We're also going to go sector by sector on the circuit, to make sure you've mastered every inch of it.

Let's start things off with the first sector, naturally. It includes the first 6 corners of the circuit, and you should be able to reach the fastest speeds in this sector.
