The FORD SHELBY GT500 is an updated year model of the second generation FORD SHELBY GT500. Unlike its 2009 year model, the FORD SHELBY GT500 had both its performance specifications upgraded as the engine's power output had been increased to 540 bhp and its exterior redesigned.

Production was limited to 2,000 units.

Its competitors are DODGE CHARGER & CHALLENGER SRT8s and CHEVROLET CAMARO ZL1. In game, the FORD SHELBY isn't in any of the same race series as the DODGE CHARGER.

This vehicle was part of the initial release Announcing Real Racing 3 (v1.0) of the game. It is unlocked as soon as Performance Rumble, V8 Performance Brawl, V8 Muscle Hustle or Coupe Clash are unlocked.

This vehicle can be acquired for 63,100 or 50,480 with showcase discount with a shipping time of 5 hours. It has also been available for 56 as a 'Get it Now' price, unlocking V8 Performance Brawl and Coupe Clash.
