A further enhanced and even more limited edition of the FORD SHELBY GT350 with an "R" package (GT350R) was announced by FORD at the 2015 North American International Auto show in Detroit, to be available to customers later in the year with only 37 units being made. The first GT350R with #001 sold for $1 million at Barrett Jackson Auction at Scottsdale, Arizona. For 2016, the GT350R has a 5.2L flat plane crank V8 engine, known as 'Voodoo', with 526 horsepower and 429 pound feet of torque.

Availability

The FORD SHELBY GT350R is available in five series:

• Muscle and Prestige bonus series in the Expert group
• Unstoppable Supercars of America bonus series in the Master group
• American Classics bonus series in the Master group
• All-Out Attack bonus series in the Elite group
• Road Revolutions bonus series in the Elite group

This vehicle was added in the Ford Update (v4.0.5) released in January 2016 and can be unlocked by earning 21 trophies in Muscle and Prestige, 27 trophies in Supercars Championship '16, or by completing the special event.

This vehicle can be acquired for 350 or 280 with showcase discount. This will automatically unlock Muscle and Prestige and All-Out Attack. It has also been available for 240 as a 'Get it Now' price.

This vehicle was available to win in these following special events:

• Track Day Domination available in the Ford Update (v4.0.5) of January 2016
• Track Day Domination (v5.6.0) available in the Aston Martin Update (v5.6.0) of October 2017.

Livery

Lego Technic livery

In Euro Masters Update (v6.6) there was the opportunity to "win" an exclusive LEGO Technic livery by taking part in the LEGO Technic Motorsports Championship.

The livery is based on the LEGO Technic Rally Car.

This livery can now be acquired for free within the Original paints in the customization menu.
