The CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY Z51 is a higher performance package of the CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY C7. The Z51 Performance Package includes dry sump lubrication, specific close-ratio gearing; transmission-cooling system; larger 19-inch front and 20-inch rear forged alloy wheels and dual-compound tires; larger, slotted rotors and brake-cooling ducts; electronic limited-slip differential and differential cooling system; unique chassis tuning; optional Magnetic Ride Control active-handling system with Performance Traction Management. It features a 6.2L LT1 V8 engine and a 7-speed Tremec TR-6070 manual. It is also the first to bear the CORVETTE STINGRAY name since the third-generation model. It is succeeded by the C8 Corvette.

Because the CORVETTE STINGRAY Z51 was noted to incorporate development from the Corvette C6.R, those properties also carry over to the race car.

Availability

The CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY Z51 is available in 5 series:

• Rapid Rivals bonus series in the Season 1 (Group) group
• RWD Open Revolution bonus series in the Pro group
• Modern Sports Classics bonus series in the Pro group
• Muscle and Prestige bonus series in the Expert group
• Road Revolutions bonus series in the Elite group

This vehicle was added in the McLaren Update (v3.7) released in November 2015 and can be unlocked as soon as RWD Open Revolution or Modern Sports Classics are unlocked or by earning 15 trophies in Muscle and Prestige.

This vehicle can be acquired for 300 or 240 with showcase discount. It has also been available for 210 as a 'Get it Now' price, unlocking RWD Open Revolution, Modern Sports Classics and Muscle and Prestige.

This vehicle was available to win in these following special events:

• Stingray Evolution available in the McLaren Update (v3.7) of November 2015
• Stingray Evolution (v5.3.0) available in the Le Mans 2017 Update (v5.3.0) of May 2017
