Nice to see you around! I like that vinyl job. It's classy. I've always thought that car is is gorgeous, and it's nice to see her properly dolled up. Bravo!
I wish we had a ' 64 & 1/2 Mustang fast back in the game. My dad gave me one when I was 18, and being young and stupid I sold it two years later. Biggest automotive regret in my life. It would be cool to see how you would vinyl up that fast back.
Thx SLJ, but I didn't think the Fastback came out til 65 (going on memory). Nevertheless the Fastback would be cool to play with! My Biggest "wish I could've kept" was a '71 Firebird. Loved that car. Sounds like this could make a great thread.
Edit: August of '64 the fastback was added to the lineup, hence 64-1/2. You are correct Sir.
Your name sounds familiar, Aleks Aeven. Could I have seen your cars/vinyls ever before?
all three Surgeon78's: gothic tattoo and white, red &black SLS, black&yellow Porsche - contrast, 2 color, sharp lines, exactly to my taste
three Mildvex's: black&red Lamboughini, MEOW viper, colourful SLS
Ix Mister's Aston 59 - gentle lines and colors
QuickNick, Veneno, Cobra, and absolutely gorgeous Cayman GT4.
also very cool aircraft drawing
Tommy299's R.S. 01, Sesto
two Mcguyrej's: gambler Nismo and Venom
KiTaKonKi's balck&blue Audi LMS
Anonymous' rusty Cayman from reddit (posted by SatanLovesJello)
HerrZesch's Tigress
Naomi Tang's 935
SatanLovesJello's 35OZ (don't like the color choice, but the face is very artistically made), plus the diaphragm on Lexus
Thanks! It was my first attempt at a face, and I thought it came out rather well. The color choices were meant to represent the sci-fi genre of anime, out it still didn't come out like I wanted... But, again, Thank you! (And the Lexus, that's the James Bond logo, and it's supposed to be the view from inside the barrel of James Bond's famous Walther PPK)

Lol! Right you are! When my dad gave mine to me, he asked me if I knew why it was called a 64 1/2, and I didn't, and he said the 1/2 meant it was made in the second half of the year, and I was fairly unimpressed with his answer. I thought it was going to be cool, like 'it uses half the gas' or 'it's half the weight' or something like that... Anyways, it was a great car, and doing donuts in the Kmart parking lot in the snow, in the winter of '93 will never be forgotten. Because I got a ticket.
yeah i participated on Vynils thread no.3 (i think), about 1.5 years ago. i remember it was opened then by MichaelRR3, and the strongest memory from that thread was QuickNick, attacking us with his antlers)) well, in general, im an on-and-off person, besides, i somehow wasnt aware of following Vynils threads - just didnt see any note on that, and was too lazy to ask)) ..im quite sure u werent active participant then, tho remember u were commenting. ill put here now second version of one of mine, think it gathered a few kudos then, u may remenber her.
Golden Kant v1.2 (Edited Powerup777 (talk) 20:32, September 6, 2019 (UTC), no vulgarity please)
(thus it called in loving memory of famous german philosopher)
still not the final version, need to redo
(Dormammu red)
i make collages in good old picassa on pc, for lighter and shorter posts. these threads r2 heavy on memory and CPU. hope it will change after promissed wiki's perestroyka
Aleks,
Both of those submissions are beautiful. Almost reminds Celtic/Tribal art. Nicely done!
One more post and we can finally put this episode to rest. Who made the rule that 500 posts is the cutoff point? Seems a little excessive, considering how many photos end up in here. Just my humble opinion.
tnx SLJ, pleased to hear that. maybe you right about the post's max lenth. my pc is quite strong, tho it takes a while to reload the page every time. can't imagine what do poor phone surfers suffer. id suggest the admins lower the limit in this case
