Just Updated
Name the track.
(I think there is only one.)
With the 2022 F1 being the fastest in terms of top speed, I thought it would be good to give you a challenge. Once you are FU'ed, I want to see if you can get any of the 2022 cars (no other year accepted) to do 400km/h (249mph) at Spa, going backwards and then take Eau Rouge flat out backwards! Record what speed you got below.
So...this is actually being talked quite a lot from what i can say, LamboCoin said that group A is not possible with the "ninja car" but some others (including me) are kind of optimistic that group A is possible with the Furai! I would like all the top notch group A players including @Forgot About Sunnyboy to take this challenge and see whether group A is possible or not with the Furai! I will try as well ;)
And back to themed ideas I guess..
Preparation
-White paint that is not Gloss White (it's just too bright).
Or any color (red or black), and use the 2nd white vinyl as your base paint
Alright let's get to it
Step 1
-A is the first Letter/Step
-Another "A" adjascent to previous "A"
-Overlap two shapes behind the letters, so the white (example) is between the "legs" of letter A.
One painted Black and the other one is later painted with body/base color
-Cover the left side of "A" with a Stripe
-fit another Stripe so it fills the covered part. (Leave a gap between the Alphabet and the Stripe)
Repeat the process for other "A"
Step 2
-Now spell AAS ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-Using stripe, cover the tip of the letter "S" and put all of it behind the A's
Step 3
-Reuse the slant stripe from Step 1 for creating the "H"
-Using a Rectangle or a Stripe, connect the two slanted stripes for the "H" letter.
And rearrange it to the most bottom layer. (Behind the two shapes from Step 1)
You should get this as the result..
-add another Slanted Stripe to make a gap between the Slanted & Horizontal pieces
End result
-Extend the "S" to the rear fender
-Finally cover both excess shapes. Top and Bottom
That's it. 18 layers for one side only. Repeat & re-fit for the other side
My version of HAAS livery
See ya soon. I hope
Snake time!
Preparation
-Any car works fine, but preferably Shelby and Fords ofc.
Tips: as usual we'll overlap shapes quite a lot
Step 1
-Place this shape from shapes tab.
-Put an ellipse and overlap it slightly
-Overlap another shape on top of it
-Cover the excess shapes with a circle or that shape
-End of step 1
Step 2
-Shaping the jaw (this will be a 4 step process)
-Overlap it slightly, and repeat it two times so it became narrower
-End of Step 2
Step 3
-Place a curved shape for it's head
-And another one for upper jaw
-And some other curves for it's eyes & fangs
-then change the overlapped shape color from Step 1 with a darker shade
Optional
-you can slide these patterns for more details. But isn't necessary
-With extra Patterns
And that's it, now a Cobra resides in your car and U got plenty layers left from it.
See you next time
Rolling out its F1 2021, Aston Martin asserted that it is not simply a green car: A very subtle but exacting blend of shading, toning and tinting (I can't recall the technique's exact technical name) of greens emphasize and draw onlookers' attention to the body's countouring.
It would be interesting to see artists here display a side-by-side comparison of a simple "x" color car vs. a fully-treated one.
(I would imagine that the black-grey-white color ranges would be employed no matter the primary color of the car.)
Continuing the previous theme, today we'll be replicating this..
Difficulty: Somewhat hard
Prep.
-190E Evo2 (ideally)
-Silver Paint
Step 1
Cover up the car with one big fat circle (paint it black)
Put a strikes horizontally across the front half
Overlap the shape, resulting a thin stripes over
Continue the shape by repeating previous process to the back side
End of Step 1
Step 2
Angle a rectangle towards the ground from behind. we did this because ordinary shape won't cover the whole greened area
Then paint it black
Put another rectangle and slightly modify the angle. So it mimics the picture above. (Previous process as referrence)
Paint the Green shape to Black, Red shape to Body color.
Step 3
Repeat the Step 1 process once more, but this time use Red & Silver
Cover both bumpers with Black (front) and Silver (Back)
End of Step 3
Step 4
Spell out "SONAX" with alphabets. you can mirror the "N" to reduce 1 layer in total
Spell the same for Bonnet, but cover the stripes behind the letter first
Step 5
Stripes through Hood, Side, and Car
Then Finally, add number boxes.
That's it, all done in 38 layers. Use the remaining layers for numbers, sponsors, etc.
——DONE——
See you later when I had the chance to create other episode.
Hey again, long time no see. For this episode we'll replicate the CLK DTM / CLK LM D2 livery
Preparation
-Silver paint
-Mercedes-Benz (optional)
A tip:
We will change the camera quite a lot, to make it easier, before making a new shape reselect the previous shape so U keep the previous vinyl angle when applying new shape..
Step 1
Put this shape as a refference
Use a half-circle, and fit it to the side of previous shape by moving the camera.
Using the same angle (see tips), put another Half-Circle beside it. make sure it have a same width as the "D".
Then overlap it with a same shape. But this time with body color. And put it behind
Postition this shape under the previous shapes, and make it narrow
Another same shape for the bottom of number "2"
By the end of Step 1, this is the result
Step 2
Using both Teardrop and Half-circle to hollow up the "D2"
The result.
Moving the camera & strike the stripe trough "D2"
End of Step 2, with 9 layers spent.
Step 3
Repeat the process for the Bonnet/Hood and Right Door. and maybe add some flags behind it
-"And that conclude the process of replicating the logo, see ya next time."
It's crunch time for XP farming in F1 2021! I have found one of the most practical races to be the Monza endurance. So why not make a challenge?
Post how far you can get, with the following information: Distance traveled, Car, DL/PL upgrades, tuning/which event you got it from,
I'd love to see how far a maxed out speed and Monza tuning car can get!
Here's my first try:
44.13km in my D4, P6 Red Bull with 5767 Singapore tuning.
Aston Martin Valkyrie
Nissan Skyline R34 Fast & Furious 2
Mercedes C63 Touring Car
Mazda 787B
Renault R25 (Lotus 125)
Renault R25 (F1 Academy Car)
Porsche RS Spyder EVO
And this time..
How to create Aston Martin wings for your sides (or hood). Under 20 layers (logo only)
Preparation
-Nothing
Note: We'll do a lot of overlapping for this time around.
If You don't Familiar with this trick, basically You overlap two shapes to create a thinner lines by covering the excess shape. As shown below..
Step 1
- Put this Decal sideways. (Make sure that There's a flat line on top)
- Overlap the previous shape with other shape to create a thin line
- Add this curve shape right next to the previous step
- Add another Lightning to the body. And do another overlapping so You'll get this..
- The result of Step 1
Step 2
Now we just need to repeat step one two more times. But modify it, so it become narrower
- Another layer done
- And another one.
Step 3
- Go to the other side, and put one Lightning.
- Using another Lightning, overlap it again so it appear like above
- Use this shape to cover up the excess shape. And of course, Overlap it just like the others
- End of Step 3
Final Step
- Add two final curves. And tuck the most top curve to the bottom layer
- And that's it, all in 17 Layers. according to my version.
- As usual. You got plenty of layers to "beautify" the car
You want a Jaguar logo on Your car? Well you're in luck You can do it Under 30 Layers. But I tell You that the results may different from my examples (Depends on Your own skill)
Preparation
-Nothing (Preferably a Jaguar ofc.)
Note
-I call this trick as Overlaps. And we will use them A Lot.
Basically You add two shapes and Overlap them so You can make a thinner shapes.
If I say Overlap, remember this trick
Step 1
-Starting off by making the back of the Jaguar. you might need to change camera angle to get a perfect curves.
-Then add this shape to be the Mouth/Face
-After that, Overlap those two shape so U get this.
-Add this Curve shape and Overlap it.
-Then cover the excess shape
-Add some Oval & Curve shape
-Overlap them, and add another curve for detailing.
That'll conclude the base of Jaguar
Step 2
-Overlap these shapes for the Ear & Eyes. Then add a Curve for detailing
-The result of Step 2
Step 3
-Add some final touch by Overlapping some of them (as seen above)
-That's it, Congratulations for making it this far.
As a note it may take up to 30 layer (or more)
Cool right? You can create something like that too, but keep reading to know how.
Preparation
-Black or Dark Blue Paint
Step 1
-Overlap Two Circles
-Add a Ellipse and hide it under Half-Circle
-Add another Ellipse. But hide it under the Right Circle. And will show like that
Step 2
-Add another Circles in each of the Circle.
Replace the blue circle a Bull. That can be read HERE
-Put that shape to be the top of the "T" then cover the excess shape on top (near window)
Step 3
-You should be getting something like this. From now on is detailing and some cleanup
-add another Ellipse to cover the Bull's rear
-Then go to the other side. Cover the rest with this Curve shape
-Put Two stripes across the Bull. And some details to the Bull from previous link.
And that's it. This time it only takes around 24 Layers, as usual you have a bunch of spare layers left
On 4th "Episode" I'll tell you on how to replicate Shell Logo
Preparation
-None
1st Step
-Duplicate & overlap two circles Red and Yellow (with the Red always under the duplicate)
2nd Step
-Cover the circle with these shape. Change the Yellow unto Body Color
3rd Step
-Flatten bottom of the circle with rectangles. Similar to 2nd Step
-Overlap some ovals. Similar to 1st Step
4th Step
-Mirror some stripes, and place 4 of them
And that's it, also maybe You want to trim excess shape from 2nd Step by covering them.
Since You only use 13 Layers. You can improvise the other parts. Personally I like to max it to 50 layer limit just like this
Check 1st to 3rd "Episode" here
Yep. Simple one here.
...wouldn't let me post all in 1 thread
