I got a 124.444 in my FU Aston, mid C, as my Acura is at all 3's.
After waiting in vain for a possible upgrade sale for the Acura, I completed the LS for the Acura last night (5353334). I decided to spend another 80 + 75 gold to FU it. Series completion needs it nearly FU anyway, pity it does not have an ES.
After much struggling I managed to beat my Aston lap by a second but still in C.
1:23.409 but only 0.058s from B so should be able to get B again.
Well done Nico excellent job.
Your first posted A time of 1:30.796 has just appeared in B now so I'm very sure you're safe.
I'm still having a hard time improving on my 1:31.499. Will try tonight before WTT end.
1:31.499 in my FU GT, about 80% into B.
I'm enjoying this combo as much as Catalunya two weeks ago with the same car.
Surprised myself with a clean run and mid C on my first lap yesterday.
Currently still in the top 200 and will be chasing that elusive A again this week.
Gap to A is 0.566s and not hard to find until the last 2 corners.
I was getting very close to bottom of B so spent a short while yesterday trying to improve. Finally set a 1:18.731 for a safe B.
I improved by only 0.157s but that got me from bottom B to nearly mid B.
B is packed with about 2400 people separated by one second.
Thanks for your insight Lambo and Dennis. I was getting more consistent with my times but of course the last chicane was always my downfall.
With a FU car I always restart if I get a penalty or too slow so I don't get to do the final chicane much. When I do manage to get to the final chicane unscathed then I'll either blow it or tip-toe around.
Congratulations @Rr3Jackostar , excellent work.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who spends more hours on WTT than playing the rest of the game sometimes.
When I get a good B lap, sometimes it seems more down to luck as I struggle to replicate that lap when trying to improve.
It would be interesting to know if Lambo, Sunnyboy, etc can consistently do the same Group A WTT times.
BTW you're not 4 tenths from B but 0.033s from B (Top B is now 1:18.030) so you will have an interesting weekend.
I just sneaked into B with a 1:18.888 but only 0.858s from A so I will be busy this weekend trying to get that magical A.
I see @Jean M.S. is back. Welcome back to the top Jean.
Well done Nico I'm right behind you with a 1:18.971 in my recently FU R8.
Still 0.038s from B so I have more work to do.
As you said competition is fierce, I was shocked when I set my initial time 2 seconds behind top and was only in Group D.
On my best laps I can keep within 0.3-0.4s behind Sunnyboy until the last corner before the chicane. Exiting this last corner or the chicane badly costs loads of time on the following straights.
Thank you Lambo for the post. Glad you're in A now as it might delay your retirement from RR3.
Update is out on Android but mine has been pending for the last 7 minutes
Daytona Motorcycle circuit. Good guess. I'm also not too keen on Daytona
Improved to a 1:16.826 in my FU GT. Was within 1 second of Lambos ghost until the last chicane, then lost another second. Made T3 and T4 by the skin of my teeth.
@DezOc If you watch Lambos replay or his video above and compare it to yours, you'll hear that Lambo is shifting down two gears for T1 and T4, 3 gears for T5, etc.
I've been ghosting Lambo the whole night and if you can keep to the same downshifts, then you can stay very close to her.
Also throttle back on immediately when the correct number of downshifts have happened.
In T1 the car almost under-revs when exiting after 2 downshifts but you will be right on top of Lambo.
I'm useless at the final chicane so no advice here.
Last week we had 276K and the week before was 293.8K for WTT.
Both were calculated from captures at 5 minutes past WTT end (including hackers)
Hey @Pathagon4410 you said last week that your WTT time had been deleted. Was it because you restored?
Were you able to set a new valid time and collect reward?
I ask because I'm worried that FM have introduced new anti-cheat measures which could be removing valid times and ignoring cheaters like LeaderGroup06 who appeared on top of the leaderboard last night.
0topt0 also reported his time being removed in this thread.
If you look at the Valkyrie car page, you will find if the car has a Showcase discount.
Generally (I think) if the car is the only one in the series, there is no Showcase discount.
Previously failed SE's do not affect the availability of Showcase discounts (if there is one).
Make sure FM's targeted ads are ON if you haven't seen any Showcase discounts in the past.
Obviously the upgrades you put on the car in the failed SE will still be there.
I would concentrate on Main Career series to progress to Endurance Legends as quickly as possible, bypassing Bonus Series until you have built up a stash of Gold.
Unfortunately with the way Season work now, there will never be a new Flashback for this car, so no way to win this car again unless FM make an LS for it.
You could wait for a Racers Choice less 40% discount during Xmas but FM have screwed with the sales so we don't know if we'll ever get Racers Choice Discounts again.
Hopefully you're getting a Group A time and 300 Gold in WTT with your Ford GT as you FU it was a luxury spend.
Lambo I think it's because FM are giving unrealistic PR's to new cars to make them more attractive to us and then using an automatic software routine that matches cars with similar PR's for WTT.
Week 25 and 28 of WTT were both dominated by older, smaller PR cars.
Bonus I guess is that we have more chance of having the older car FU than the newly acquired LTS or VP car.
I'm still on 24% complete on the current C8 Z06 LS hoping for a miracle upgrade sale and also not too happy about the extra gold to get to 5331333.
Improved by 3 tenths in my FU GT to a 1:17.288 for a safer B.
Final chicane is killing me, losing up to a second here to Lambos ghost with not much opportunity to practice as it is the last corner.
After waiting for a possible upgrade sale on the vette (and stupidly thinking it could possibly be top car) I bit the bullet and splashed out 300 Gold to buy the Ford at less 40%.
Because it has an ES and 2 incomplete series I coughed up another 579 Gold to FU it.
Usually I don't spend on upgrades without discounts but I've been accumulating gold this round and I hate running WTT's without endless drives.
Got a 1:17.614 in my FU GT, mid B now but a whopping 3.2s to Sunnyboy.
The Ford GT might be easier to handle than last weeks GT2 RS but Catalunya not an easy track to master.
Well done Lambo, pity Sunnyboy keeps moving the goalposts.
I enjoyed your skid going into the final chicane when watching your earlier ghost.
I spent 3 hours just before WTT end last night trying to get back into B.
Finally nailed it with a 57.200 which put be about 75% into B.
Global position 881 (cheaters must still be removed) is good going for me but the 0.847s to bottom of A is still a huge gap.
Now onwards to Spain where I only own the R$ Porsche.
Dammit I just dropped to C...
Thanks Sunnyboy for you video, I will study it.
Your first ghost though was better for me. Now that you've cleaned up your lap you're out of sight on the horizon when I'm still busy with Turn 6.
Both cars cost the same but IDR is 135 Gold more to FU. Evija though has 1 more career series.
As RudeSprite said, the IDR is awesome, full throttle through most corners that you have always braked for before. There's a wiki page somewhere here showing how many times you have to brake in the IDR for all tracks.
The Evija is difficult to control for me. Too much instant power and not enough grip makes exiting corners a huge challenge.
I would get the IDR and hope that FM includes Pikes Peak as a new track.
After the disappointment of failing to get into B at Melbourne with my FU F40 LM had faded away, I set a goodish time here at Indi Road.
57.775 in my FU GT2 RS, can a number be a palindrome??
It was well into B when I set it but now flirting with the bottom of B for the last 2 days.
Indi and COTA are usually my best performing tracks but I'm struggling here with the RS.
I'm always over steering from turn 1 to 2 and and not maximizing the exits on the corners before the back straight and final banking/straight.
I really enjoy this combo though, the FU RS is a beast but a bit tail happy for my skills.
Will continue to try and get a safer B.
Well done Lambo and MegaDriver80, excellent times with this handful of a car.
@Moiz04 check out Davids blog here...
He lists different strategies for Zenith. Maybe this will help.
I also just got 100 Gold from FM even though I didn't raise any support tickets for ad issues.
Thank you FM you just bumped my Gold to over 3000 for the first time ever.
Please accept my apologies for thinking you create ad issues intentionally to encourage us to buy gold.
When you unlocked the showcase event for the Agera R (tier 19.1 in Speed Demons), you should have got the 20% showcase discount for the Agera R valid for 24 hours.
If you did not, make sure EA In-Game Targeted ads is On.
