Game plays fine, but its tough to drive with touch controls. I use it to make a backup save of the game I am playing on my tablet/phone.
917 has a paint setup that is close to the Porsche #20 Steve McQueen drove in the movie LeMans. Now if they would just add the Ferrari, this could be a really great series. As it is, blah.
Choose the 23 car as it had the best high speed stats, but then in the Nascar series most of the races turned out to be on road courses. Bad decision. But should even out when the next tune comes out as its better for road courses. It is fast on an oval though.
Been playing since 2014 and the game is getting worst and worst. Luckly you can play the old stuff and ignore what you dont like. I spend more gold on upgrading old cars than on the new ones in each update. Nothing like a good SKIP to make the day.
VIPing is the only thing worth paying real money in the game. But the car has to be a good one to reward it with a VIP.
How do you get to the patch notes. The Video is nice, but the details are in the patch notes
Went ahead and won the E-Tron so I could at least say I did get one of the cars in this upgrade. Have a fair amount of gold but not sure the ID-R is worth the cost. Without knowing how much fame is paid for the races it is in I am hesitant to spend a great deal of gold to get a car I might hardly ever use. I already have plenty of those. I have no problem skipping cars; even fast ones, if they don't suit my needs.
Had a girlfriend who had the 1.8 version and my Datsun 1600 would run circles around it. But it was a Porsche so she was happy with it. This was Porsche's last try at selling a cheap sports car. Cant remember the last time I saw one (Porsche 914) on the road.
It would be 100 times better if they allowed crew bonus
How about the Shelby Cobra Coupe, and match it against the Ferrari 250 GTO that is already in the game. That would be a fun series.
If you are on a really good team (top 100/200) you will have to get better to win races. The problem is now EA/FM have just about eliminated the competition in race teams. It would not surprise me if they dont discontinue the race team competition completely. But the fun of racing on a team against other team mates adds a great deal to the game. When a team mate beats you in an event the game sends you a notice that a team mate has bested you and you can (if you want) go directly to that race and try to beat them. Being one of the top dogs on a good team is an honor, keeping on the top of a good team is tough. but you will GET BETTER at racing.
This is news to me. I used to do all my bot slowing with unserviced cars. But if an administrator says its so I guest it is. It seems EA/FM spends more time trying ways to limit what a player can do instead of making the game more player friendly. Makes ya wonder, whats next.
Actually using a unserviced car is the best car for bot slowing. After you have finished your bot slowing then service the car. Not during or before.
Its almost like RR3 is two different games, The Road Collection (Career), and the Motor sports game. Motorsports is a jumbled mess, gold bought cars and M$ cars and a mix of both. At least Career is stable, though it is getting less and less attention by EA/FM.
If that was the case, (more daily traffic) they have FAILED with me. I used to race 2 to 3 hours a day. Now I run 3 9 lap Monza races and park the car and my tablets for the day. 30 minutes tops. If there is something going on in Motorsports I run it until I reach the limit and then park it again. Most of the members (top 100/200 team) do something similar. But to each its own. The 5 mil limit is fine, the 250,000 is not.
Its just an added cost to upgrading a car. You have to get XP to earn the right to do the actual upgrades for the driver and principal. With the daily limit on M$ it draws out the act of tuning. I now race less than before because when I get to 250 each day I slam on the brakes and turn my tablet off. Done for another 24 hours. I used to race sometimes four or five hours a day. Now I race 30 minutes.
If you want a very good serviceable tablet WalMart has a Lenovo Smart Tab M8 tablet on sale for only 99$. It has a 8 inchHD screen and a 32 GB of storage and a 2 G CPU and comes with a free charging station. It plays the game as well as my 500+$ Samsung Tab S2. I highly recommend it and you cant beat the value
Thanks for the tips.
