The third and final leg of our 2024 Nostalgia Trip blends the old with the new. This week, we travel to a brand new circuit in WTT, Sebring! It is the first time trial for this popular and tricky circuit, so track evolution will likely play a critical role. Given no one has had WTT experience on Sebring and/or the Johnson Club variant before, this could prove quite interesting. For our cars, we travel back to this week last year, where we had the 2019 Ford vs. Ferrari GTE's (which have an ongoing special event). They are also joined by the 2016 Ferrari 488 GTE, which ironically also had an event in the update the other two were last featured (v12.4). Unlike last year's triple header experiment, Week 24 will be one WTT that lasts the full week like normal this time.
Performance wise, to the shock of some (including myself), the Ford appears to be the best car. It has less speed, less grip, and marginally worse handling than the Ferrari, and indeed, the Ferrari was the faster car at Le Mans last year. However, it appears the Ford has the edge here. Perhaps its acceleration advantage helps around the less speed-crucial Johnson Club variant. So far, the best time set is a 42.6.
Despite the 2019 Ferrari apparently not being the best car, it is still capable of high A, and I think it's pretty much on par with the Ford. Certainly, I'd argue handling is better. There's a 2019 Ferrari in 2nd place two tenths off the leading Ford at the time of writing, so a high A should be easily doable.
No idea why they put the 2016 Ferrari against the 2019 GTE's (and the third car too, but that actually helps us). It's not a bad car, but the 2016 GTE's were quite rear limited, plus, the 2018 and 2019 cars have brake and grip upgrades that give much more performance per upgrade than the pre-2018 cars. That means it's going to be a decent chunk slower. At Laguna Seca, it was 2.3 seconds slower than the Ford. Here, I'd expect a similar or slightly smaller gap, which should mean Group C is possible.

Alright this is the sale you've all been waiting for. Say the line Lambo: 50% off the 2019 Ford GT LM! This is the most key sale in a long time. Its last sale was 45% off in October 2023.
Purchase price: 340 gold
R$ Upgrades (1111111): R$385,250
LTS Upgrades (3333333): R$1,252,100 and 189 gold
Series Upgrades (5353433): R$1,836,800 and 380 gold
Fully Upgraded (5454433): R$1,836,800 and 511 gold
With the Exclusive Series paying 175 gold, it is 44 gold net profitable to fully upgrade from series upgrades!
This car has two series, its motorsports season 2019 Season (GTE) and its Exclusive Series. They pay 75 and 175 gold respectively, adding up to 250 gold total. This assumes base completion; you don't need any other cars to finish its motorsports series.
It's been rare I highly recommend a car on sale lately, but this is one I think should under little circumstance be passed up. Not only is it on the best sale any car can pretty much possibly get nowadays (50%), but it also has an ongoing event, where you can win it for half the price of many of our modern day skidblocks (200 gold is a steal for that)! And there's more, because it is currently being featured in BOTH WTT and TTC at the moment, giving possibly big profits to those who can make it work. In total, one can claim up to 685 gold (35+75+175+300+100), making it up to 174 gold net profitable from stock. While it's not the best 2019 GTE (that goes to the Porsche), it is reliable and still a nice car to drive, in addition to being the only one with an Exclusive Series. However, it is apparently the best car this week, further justifying its investment. The last time we have been able to get a best car straight from an event on sale was probably the Subaru Impreza back in October 2022.

All WTT Laps in 2025 (In Progress)
This week started on June 9th/10th and will end on June 16th/17th.
The OMP sale for this week is 50% off the Limited Edition Maserati; its last sale was a 40% that ended exactly six months ago. A reliable car in OMP and WTT when it appears, and I would highly recommend using this sale to get through its event if you haven't already. For most of us though, it's a repeat sale LOL.
All the best for this week everyone!
