Apologies for another late time trial thread (7pm ACST at the time of publishing)
The first TTC for the update takes us to the GP circuit at Silverstone for the first time since 2024, and this time, we are in some of the fastest GTE cars the game has given us. For this competition, we are in the BMW M8 GTE, the 2018 911 RSR, the 2019 Ford GT LM, and the 2018 Aston Martin Vantage GTE.
Performance wise, the 2018 RSR should be best. It packs good all round speed, with some of the best handling in the group, despite having the worst brakes, but not by much.
Second best is likely to be the Ford, but not too far off the Porsche. Time trials in the career indicate less than a second gap between the two cars, with the Ford packing in good all round stats. It also will have a sale from June 10 to June 17, so that is something to consider.
The Aston Martin is likely to be the third best for this competition. It has good straight line speed, but lacks in acceleration, but makes up for it in the corners and under braking. Likely to be either a low A or high B depending on the deltas.
The worst is likely to be the BMW. It has the best handling, but also has the worst straight line speed, with average acceleration and brakes. Likely to be 1.5-2 seconds off the pace, in mid to high B.
