The second TTC of the update takes us to Spa for the first time this year. After hosting the 2024 WRC TTC in December, most were hoping for something a bit faster, given the 240kph top speed of the WRC cars. This time, we still see three motorsports cars with high speed understeer, but this time, much faster (and more popular) LMDh cars! The first three Le Mans hypercars added to the game, the Porsche 963 LMDh, BMW M Hybrid V8, and Acura ARX-06 are featured in the TTC. Some of you might be asking why the Ferrari 499P isn't in there as well, and fair enough, but because it was given a different, slower handling model, it probably wouldn't be able to be competitive.
Performance wise, the Acura will be the best car. Although its grip stats are the worst of the three, it also seems to handle the best at high speed, which is critical when these cars want to fly off the high speed Pouhon. It also has the highest top speed of the three, which helps around Spa. It looks like the Acura will be around a second faster than the Porsche.
All three of these cars have aero grip, with lower grip at lower speed and higher grip at high speeds, so much grip that like the old F1 cars, they'll just fly off track near top speed no matter how much steering you put into it.
The Porsche will be second best. I actually think that this has the worst handling of the three. Its not bad by any measure, but it feels more susceptible to high speed understeer and a bit heavier steering than the others. It will still be a reliable though, and a 1:31.7 seems to be doable, which should be in the middle of A by the end.
The BMW is the slowest of the three, but will still be quite competitive. It has the same grip as the Porsche, though does also have marginally the worst speed stats of the three. I would argue that it has better handling than the Porsche, even if it is slower. I'm not sure exactly how much it can do, but at least a high B, if not a low A.

This TTC started on May 5th/6th and will end on May 19th/20th, lasting 14 days. This is the second of the two TTC's in the v13.3 update. As it goes to the end of the update, it will end four hours earlier than usual, at 8pm UTC rather than the usual midnight TTC. The next TTC may provisionally start around May 26th-June 2nd, a broad range as we seem to have deviated from our usual 2023-24 schedule.
All the best for this TTC, everyone!
