After a hectic couple of weeks, we leave the U.S. and head over to Germany, at the Hockenheim, for Week 3 of the v13.3 update. This is the third week in a row we will see the debut of a new car in WTT, or in this case, a car that has established itself over the past seven months into a potential all-time great. When the Koenigsegg CC850 was introduced in late September 2024, it was widely thought it would be just another slippery Koenigsegg with bad brakes. How wrong we were. It has become essentially an evolution of the Koenigsegg One:1 with a more classic look, is widely popular, and quick. Hockenheim might not suit its characteristics best, but it'll still be incredibly fast around here, and much faster than its opponents, the Jaguar C-X75 R3 Spec and the Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4.
Performance wise, as alluded to, the CC850 will be the dominant car. It is the best on all stats, and has a clear speed advantage of nearly 100kph. The CC850 actually has the fifth highest top speed in the game, at 513kph, even if it might not feel or sound like it. All the more surprising then that handling is relatively incredible, with its 1.88g grip stat fully upgraded being helped by a grip buff. Higher top speed does mean it takes longer to brake than the One:1, but there's no other car that feels like it can slow down better from such high speeds. The only fly in the ointment for the drifters is that the CC850 does not slide very well, though at least one drift will likely be used by many at Turn 6, as usual. Pole time is expected to be in the low 1:04s.
The Jaguar will be second best. It's a decent car itself, and ironically was featured exactly six months ago to the start and end day (10/21-28/2024). Unfortunately, it won't be anywhere near the pace (or drivability even) of the CC850, as decent as it is. A 1:09 should be doable, which would likely put this in D.
I think the Asterion is a fairly unique car. It has a distinct shape, modern-looking interior, and has a very good sense of speed when you're driving it. That can mean it may feel a bit slippery, especially with more acceleration upgrades, and you do have to be careful driving this. It is also not in the league of the others this week, with the max time being around 1:13-14, and probably in E.

This week’s sale is 35% off the Koenigsegg CC850. Despite being its first appearance in WTT, it has had a TTC and a 40% sale during the 12th anniversary sales about 2 months ago.
Purchase price: 715 gold
R$ Upgrades (1111111): R$450,775
Series Upgrades (5353333): R$2,017,665 and 640 gold
Fully Upgraded (5454334): R$2,017,665 and 1,027 gold
With the Exclusive Series for this car paying 120 gold, the net cost to fully upgrade from series upgrades is 267 gold.
This car has two series, Eternal Koenigsegg and its Exclusive Series.
They pay 82 and 120 gold respectively adding up to 202 gold total. This assumes base completion (no other cars in the regular series, so that's one upside of that formulae).
I questioned if this car was as good as people were saying when I had it at 1131111. Fully upgraded it with the anniversary sale after getting to all 3's for the TTC, and while that cost 1100 gold, I have no regrets. Fully upgraded, this is one of my favorite cars of all, with maybe the BMW V8 sound (instead of something similar to the One:1 as I heard in irl videos) being the only downside. At the same time, it's a massive sum of gold to fork out given it's "only" a 35% sale. I'd say wait for a better one, but will we get more than 35% in the future? If I had to choose, I'd say just take the plunge, as I can almost guarantee this won't be the last time it's on top.
