Rather stupid that ...
It’s a no off-track challenge but the game doesn’t tell you if you’ve gone off-track! Given that the only event in which you have any chance of posting a 310+kph result is an 8-lap 13-14 minute Cup race it’s rather unreasonable (though not surprising) that FM don’t tell you if you’ve gone off-track, you’ll only find out when you finish the race and it doesn’t post a result.
After years of asking there’s still nothing displaying your top speed. The game has the ability to display top speed (Speed Record event) so why do FM refuse to implement this?
You have to wait until the end of the race, hope that you didn’t go off-track and that the buggy game actually posts your result (it has frequently failed to do so in past events) before you know your result, all of which means FM don’t care if you waste 13-14 minutes of your time doing a possibly pointless race!
But then I guess it’s the same as displaying your result/position in Endurance races (where it’s too easy to miss it when the 3rd, 2nd, 1st flags pop up so quickly), Speed Records, etc.
There are so many (simple) ways in which FM could improve this game but they clearly can’t be bothered and so, by extension, don’t really care about the players’ enjoyment.
