40.681 - FU Merc, tilt B, no assists & SS0
It's a weird combo but I enjoyed it. The key, in my opinion, is all about the acceleration points. If you're slightly off you'll easily lose 0.1-0.2 in those corners.
The first turn is tricky and I experimented with both coasting and braking but didn't find one was significantly better than another. A minor brake is all you'll need but you'll fail more often than succeed hitting it perfect, so just be patient there.
The two turns I thought were the most brutal are the second and last. The second turn, if you don't get on the gas early enough, you'll easily lose 0.2 or more. But it's a fine line too, too early and you smash the barrier, too late and you lose the time. You'll know when you hit it decent because you almost brush the barrier.
As for the last turn, that one plagued me. The brake point is as important as the acceleration point. If you brake too early you end up shallow and even though the exit feels decent, your split at the end gets screwed compared to what you crossed at. Many times it was about 0.05, which doesn't seem like much but for this combo is huge. If you're a tad to late, you go slightly wide and lose 0.2. SJ has a beautiful last turn, and run in general, so his ghost will tell you how well you hit it.
anyway, not much time left but good luck!
