- "Series & Races Including best race for each series" have been deleted and re-created from zero in a new appropriate place (Best race for each series) with a new template that will calculate CRB automatically.
- As you may have seen, I've also updated the whole Series and Special Events page. I've created a new layout and a new template for race series list, which has now become a more familiar table, with a consistent feel with the rest of the wiki site.
- I've moved also "Special Events" Series and Special Eventsw template.
- I've renamed Race Series to Series and Special Events. However redirection from the old pagename will stay.
- A new page has been created: RR3 Wiki:Most Profitable Races. I moved "Most profitable races" there with a new template that will help editors a lot. Columns <i>R$/min</i> and <i>Fame/min</i> are now automatically calculated based on <i>Time</i>.
- <i>RR3 Version</i> column is now hidden for viewers, but values are still in the rows for editors.

<p>Hello community. I'm here today to tell you that "things will change". No, I'm not a politician nor a religious shepherd. I'm only a fan of codes. And during last week I've worked hard to fix some problems that were disturbing my mind.
</p><p>I'm talking about Races and Price page. This is one of the most viewed and edited pages on this wiki. Many people use it to find the best races to run in order to get the highest reward possible. Many others like also contributing to this page updating data according to their personal race experience.
</p><p>So, what were the main problems? First of all the damned time columns. To me, it was unacceptible that people had to calculate R$/min and F/min on their own. Second, there were two similar tables on the same page and this created a lot of confusion. Third, source code had too many rows and was a real mess for editors.
</p><p>So, what changed?

<p>Top menu > Navigation menu has been updated too, Race Series is now Race Series & SE, Profitable Races is an addition.

<p>What would be useful for the current team event (Gauntlet Distance Challenge) is a list of races by length. I can go through the whole list to find for myself which is the "best" race to run (which I will...), but it would be faster if that were already compiled somewhere.

<p>What is the easiest way to find and update a specific race? It seems like the search in the editing box will locate only a specific field. Generally I have to scroll through the entire list of fields on the left side until I finally find the race I want to edit. Is there an easier way?

<p>@Mlieberman, the best way to edit data, in templates, is in source mode, the default editor is a visual view, which is fine for editing text in articles, but not for editing data in templates. See Automatic Calculation for Your Outstanding Cars which is nearest we have to a tutorial, and a good way to learn about editing data in templates, by copying the data to <u>your</u> profile you can practice and learn how to edit data. See the information on Help at the bottom of the article with links to see Classic editor or Visual Editor for information on editing in source mode.
