The equinox is here! After a long, lonely winter, the vibrant flowers and singing bugs/birds greet us for the season (and allergies…). For the second year in a row, Week 12 happens to be at Dubai with a Bugatti as top car, but this time, it’s the Chiron, which may or may not be more manageable than last year's Bolide! It’s also on a shorter circuit, with Dubai International making its first appearance since September 2021 (the infamous Performante WTT)! Alongside the Chiron are the McLaren 600LT and the Pagani Huayra.
Performance wise, the Chiron will be best. Again, no surprise as it is another unbalanced week. It’s only the Chiron’s second time being best car, as the poorer brakes and grip relative to its rivals normally aren’t great. Typical of late, the pattern of cars with events being near-guaranteed top car slot happens with the Chiron. It'll be drifting paradise just like last year, take that as you will. A slower but much better handling option is the regular Pagani Huayra. It’s not the most overpowered car in the world, but you can throw it around a track with pretty good grip and balance relative to rivals. Despite that, D is probably the best it can do. As usual, the loaned 600LT isn’t meant to compete against the other two cars this week, with the worst grip by far and not a ton of speed either. E is probably the best that car can do.

This week’s WTT sale is 35% off the Bugatti Chiron. Its last sale was a 40% car sale, 25% upgrades sale for New Year’s 2023.
Purchase price: 488 gold
R$ Upgrades (1111111): R$500,825
Event Upgrades (3333333): R$1,627,730 and 286 gold
The regular Chiron cannot complete its featured series, only the Chiron Sport can.
Fully Upgraded (5444344): R$2,064,790 and 835 gold
LTS Upgrades -> Fully Upgraded (3333333 -> 5444344): R$437,060 and 549 gold
The net cost for fully upgrading from LTS upgrades is +R$62,940 and -449 gold before WTT rewards.
This car has 2 series, Chiron Showcase and its Exclusive Series, paying 80 and 100 gold respectively, adding to 180 gold total. This assumes the Bugatti Chiron Sport is owned and sufficiently upgraded.
These days, 35% isn’t a great sale (even though it’s better than the normal 30% up to June 2022). It’s probably the best time to upgrade this car if that’s what you want to do, given you can get back off its WTT. Not one I’d recommend though for most, as it’s usually not a great car.

This week started on March 18th and will end on March 25th.
The OMP sale for this week is 40% off the Lamborghini Veneno. Matches its last sale in November 2022. This is again a car that has never been able to prove itself and is insanely overpriced on upgrades. Perhaps a Silverstone GP WTT and a 50% sale in the future?
All the best for this week everyone!
